The Steam version has a different splash screen in the main menu, added cinematics, rewards and removed/hided sidestory.

i like this VN but i just hope that the steam an the regular or whatever version is not much different from steam one and the saves can be compatible with each other
edit: this basically just ends from last time in the car were you save one of two people it doesnt really advance the story so im guessing this is a tweak to something like bug fix or whatever so should just hold off on playing until the actual next episode which will be episode 5

Not sure didn't play it. My patch says 41 new files in the image folder. So thats probably the special renders + 1 GUI changed file. Could be a new scene or not.

Steam version is best version to work with ATM (compared to non-Steam).
I've confirmed the VN's core save pointers are mostly resolved with the exception that the Steam's Ep4 content core pointers are different than the non-Steam... so I'm using the Steam versions in the mod update as this is presumed to be the "latest and greatest" of the VN's core file system.
If saves are borked in the future (Ep5+) then we'll deal with it then.
Otherwise something wicked is coming (I also took the liberty of giving the Preferences screen a facelift since it was a bit wonky):

Note: many of the cheevos fire off automatically (not influenced by choices). For those that don't I'll update the mod's ChoiceGuide to reflect those particular cheevos for you Steam folks.
