If a game is not profitable, then there's no reason for any sane person to keep pushing it, and if they happened to mix their Patreons then there wouldn't be a way for them to know which one is making the dough.It’s actually about supporting the developer, not the game itself. By supporting the developer, you gain access to both Game A and Game B that they are creating, which isn’t a disadvantage for the supporters.
Friend, your point only applies if the developer increases the support amount when making more than one game. For example, if a supporter pays $10 and gains access to the posts for both Game A and Game B, that’s beneficial for the supporter. However, your argument applies in cases where the developer raises the access fee to $20 for existing $10 supporters just because they’re making a second game. In that case, it would be about not wanting to pay an extra $10 specifically for Game B.
Devs are real people (believe it or not), and they need to eat and make a living. Making games is both hard and expensive. So, if you actually value their work, you might aswell acknowledge it by pleading on the game you enjoy, and not to the faces behind it.
