There's no point in wasting time making so-called Christmas releases, developers should be thinking more about how to increase the frequency of updates instead of making players wait for an update that they can only play 1-2 times a year

I still agree with the sentiment. you get one or two major updates a year so the specials are updates that give you hope and then rip it away. I've never cared for them in any of the games so it ends up just being a front page update that ends up disappointing.
