Greyvale Rivalry - Final Status Update #3
Hello everyone,
We're back with not so great news this time. We were doing great for a long time, but we finally managed to jinx it by talking about how everything was perfect. Last week was a particularly frustrating one, so we'll dive right into what happened. Last week, one of our rigs straight up stopped working out of the blue. Now, this wouldn't be as annoying as it is right now if it were because the motherboard was fried. So far, we've tried another CPU, Motherboard, SSD, RAM, and PSU; we pretty much changed everything in the rig, and nothing helped. So, 2 days ago, we sent it back to where we bought it from, since the warranties of the parts had another year to go. TLDR: We're down a rig and animations are taking longer to render, and since it was one of the PCs that I used to code the game, and the only thing I have is a Mac, which annoys the fuck out of me, the coding became a slower and more tedious process.
Now that we are finished with all the bad news, let's get to the better news. The game is almost finished in terms of static renders. Since the last status update, we've finished all the scenes except scene 2, which we're going heavy on. Anyway, let's get to the scene.
Scene 17: The last scene of the first episode. We truly enjoyed making this one, not just because we finally saw the end of the road, but it was actually very fun to work on. It'll also have its own cinematic, since it's the final scene!
