I've also experienced duplication of text (upper-left) during punishments and persistence of text (I believe it was with Amy). Looked, but didn't see anyone report this. Cosmetic for sure, but just wanted to let you know.

Depends on the game. Some games, I do care more for the story than the "fappable" content, as you call it. Now and Then, DeLuca family, and others like it, have good writing. This one I think also has good writing, but a bit in a different sense.

A film can have a very good OST, but it will never make reasonable to go to a cinema if you just want to listen some good music. If you want a good story and just that, you go read a porno novel. I play sandbox porno games for the immersive aspect of it. Passively reading doesn't help in any way if it doesn't make it more erotic and there is a lot of unerotic reading in here.

And don't assume people can't fap to text. Don't KINKSHAME ME!

First of all, Good work. This is a great game, keep up the good work. There are only a few tiny aspects that I didn't like but they are not at all important not even worth to mention. Overall, cool idea, awasome work & effort, beautiful design, and great game. Thank you.

The problem is, I'm getting an error/exception thingy everytime Miss Chang(crazy science lady) speaks. It does not matter if I'm speaking to her in school, home, etc. Every time she says anything, exception happens. I ignored the exceptions and game continued fine but I have no idea what she said or asked. I searched in the thread but people said it is AMD Graphics related but I'm using NVIDIA GPU. My CPU is AMD but without integrated GPU so I don't think it is AMD related (but I'm open to see the valid points as to why it could be still related)

If you are making a VISUAL NOVEL, half your effort should be for the NOVEL part and the other half for the VISUAL part, and, if you are making a porno game, your effort on the writting should be even less than half of your total effort. In fact, it would be better to avoid any text that doesn't help to get your players horny.

I've played and greatly enjoyed 14.2beta. I started with my save file from 13.2public, which was 100% complete. I'm playing on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Linux), and had no problems at all (no crashes, no bugs, etc.). This has been discussed before, but I unzipped the new game update into a new directory, not on top of the old one. I think this might be the reason some folks have problems.

Just because we have this "visual novel" category (which this game doesn't really fit either way) doesn't mean at all that certain percentages need to be put into certain parts. A folk rock band can be more folksy or more rock orientated, a RomCom movie lean more towards the romantic or the comedic part of its name (and probably suck either way, granted).

Most people do not create a song, movie, book, or here a game to fit into a specific category. They create what they like or what they think others would like. And if it doesn't fit a preconceived notion of genre, then so be it.

Just because you (and certainly others) don't like to follow the story but prefer to skip to the "good parts" doesn't mean others have to do it the same way. I personally get nothing from lewd scene after lewd scene games, I want some connection to the characters in the game, some motivation why I should stick my dick in. If I just want a quick fap to a lewd scene, I have plenty of porn educational material on my computer to do so.

And either way, even if almost nobody likes the way a game is created, the dev is still free to continue as they please. It may not be for you, and you certainly are allowed to put that into a review or similar to tell people including the dev about it, but the underlying assumption that others necessarily share your opinion is wrong. And you should know that, considering that your specific kinks do not find that much support elsewhere - which does not mean you are wrong in enjoying them, but I could go to "your" games and tell people that a good game needs romance because most people like to have a connection with their love interests, and it would be just as wrong.

I totally agree with that. Having a background that build sexual interest is essencial. I just highly doubt that those 500K words are contributing enough to make it worth so much reading.
