Hey guys,

Just a quick development update this time. As planned, I spent the last month or so mainly focused on writing. To fill in all the gaps from Chapter 2 and to write the Chapter 2 ending, I probably need somewhere around 100,000 words of dialogue. As you can imagine a month isn’t anywhere near enough time to clear that kind of backlog. However, I have made a dent in it and I had time to get some stuff clear in my head. I still plan to release a mini-update (version 0.16.4) sometime around Christmas, which is only a couple of months away. So, it’s already time for me to get back to work with rendering and animations.

My three main priorities for the upcoming mini-update are; Liz’s next punishment (featuring Sally’s new outfit); oral services from Lucy on Saturday morning; and the remaining cafe scenes with the new cafeteria uniform. I’ve already made very good progress with the cafe stuff and with Lucy’s new scene. I think I probably only need another couple of weeks to get those wrapped up. Liz and Sally’s stuff is more complicated, however, I have done most of the storyboarding and I have the draft animations. So, hopefully, that won’t take more than a few weeks to put together. Then, fingers crossed, I might have time to fit a few little extras in the mini-update. There are some bits for Amy and Debbie from the staff training storyline that would be next on my list. I will have to see how I get on though.

I should have enough of the images rendered for the mini-update to put a batch of preview pictures together soon. I will aim to release those in the next week or two.

besides the things you listed here there are no other situations to unlock I have version 16.4 is it limited only to these scenes? I ask because if there are only these scenes I have already completed all the missions of this update. Can you let me know Thanks

Do anybody know what the difference between 16.4 and 16.4.1 is? I can't find it mentioned anywhere, be it online or in the zip itself.

This is a known issue with Ren'py. Unzipping tool matters and it won't work if a windows user decides to repack a mac zip file. Ren'py's own zip generation works for mac through, even if the release is build on windows.

Obviously I would expect something published as "bugfix release" to contain 15 new scenes, one for each kB the zip increased in size.

I'm asking if it is known which bug(s) was fixed, which seemed so important to get fixed right away that it justified an additional release.

A couple of crash issues related to the 16.4 content. If you haven't experienced them then you're golden.

Sometimes this game isn't playable. I have to start a new save, and every update the dialogue doesn't save so I have to turn on the skip unread option to catch up, furthermore I run into weird bugs where it says I have an item needed to advance a quest or I have bought something but never got it in the mail the next day. Previously I had a bug where I couldn't advance a girls story because it was too late in the game or some nonsense where it wouldn't flag her events from happening and had to make a new save.

I just want to note: for some reason the line "Shut up Debbie. I mean... remain silent, suspect number 3." really cracks me up. I can heat that in my head: the automatic command, the chagrined realization, and the completely transparent coverup... WHICH EVERYONE BUYS. The fact that there's some very nice flesh on display is an added bonus.
Moments like that are the reason I play this game.

Everyone should ease up a bit. Maybe meet and fuck games are more his speed. Maybe he's an amputee who needs his one good hand for something other than typing/clicking. Maybe thinking requires too much blood flow to the wrong head. Also, don't forget that instant gratification without any effort is the birthright of all first world teenagers.

I remember the stupid age test questions to get into Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards. Ugh, frustrating. I was twenty something and just didn't know enough americana. 1987 was not a good year to search trivia answers online.

last quests I can make progress in require an empty office after class.. but I keep getting Faye's boring punishment on a loop. Is this a bug, or is there some way I can find an actual tutor for her?

A bugfix normaly is only around 50 up to 200 MB in a zip-data!?:unsure:
A hero is needed to reduce this 7.5 GB into a smaller Size ;)

The Headmaster - 0.16.4.3public Patch

Altos has posted a patch on his patreon site. It will update version 0.16.4public to the latest version (0.16.4.3public). This means that you don't have to download the full version again.

To get the patch, go to the most recent patreon post at:

. The post is dated January 24 but has been updated with the new patch. It's a public post so everyone can download the patch.

The patch includes all previous bugfixes for version 0.16.4public. That means:
  • The patch will work for the original public release (0.16.4public). It also works if you have already updated your game to 0.16.4.1public or 0.16.4.2public. To check which version you are on, click the "about" button on the main menu.
  • It will NOT work for the previous patreon-only release. The patreon version is called 0.16.4 - please note the difference between 0.16.4 (old version) and 0.16.4public (current version).

Did I fuck up any progression with Samantha if during the dinner date the only thing I didn't do right was to mention home improvements??
I had the date with Samantha quite a long time ago and just now I'm checking the guide. I rather not have to go back to try again and lose my progress, but I was wondering if the route will be different. I still got the kiss on the cheek after the date though, and haven't asked her out for a second date yet
