Apologies if I missed the fix. But I had issues on my Mac as well and found a workaround. I used Keka.app to unpack the app from the zip file.
Originally I downloaded from an F95 link which didn't work. Then I tried Itchio which also failed. I then started digging into the package contents of the new Mykock's manor and Headmaster apps. I immediately noticed some files in HM not being recognized by MacOS. In 'Headmaster.app>Contents>Resources>lib', I noticed the 'Python3.9' folder had different sizes between the two apps - 10MB (MM) vs zero (HM). The overall app size for Headmaster was also only 5+GB vs 8GB for the zip file.
MacOS has a native feature to automatically unzip downloaded zip files and delete the archive. I pulled the original archive from my trash and opened with Keka.app (3rd party utility) and everything worked. Unsure what the built-in system utility was stripping out some of the app contents during the unzip process.

I downloaded The Unarchiver from the app store, and since then use that instead of the build-in utility. This also works well.
With the new version I am getting an error thrown every few lines of dialogue, has anyone else noticed this or found a fix?
Honestly I am glad. I have no interest of visiting the boys school so its good we don't have to sit through that content. Hopefully it ended up losing the vote at the end
That I did :_( I erased it and downloaded it fresh and that solved it. Thanks!

It's a very interesting game and it's designed to be reasonably exciting. From my point of view, it's very captivating and there are already a lot of task areas. I hope that there will always be updates for this game and that it will be updated regularly.
Das ist ein sehr interessantes Spiel und es ist einigermaßen spannend gestaltet. Es ist aus meiner Sicht sehr fesselnd und es gibt bis jetzt schon sehr viele Aufgabenbereiche. Ich hoffe darauf, dass es immer wieder Updates für dieses Spiel gibt und es regelmäßig aktualisiert wird.
