Because you're speaking like the Dev owes you an update.
You aren't paying for the game and demanding for updates on a regular basis. Maybe try to understand him from his POV, or supporting him financially?
And yes, try to create a game and let us know how easy it is to produce monthly updates, we will be waiting.

Just know that most good creators will update regularly & often but will have hiccups from time to time. Software failure, miscalculations & real life problems will rear there heads. Sometimes these things take time. I am sorry to have jumped on the defensive against you.

But when you say I dont understand how it lagged behind you do sound like so many on here who feel like they are owed something. You're not paying, it's free. In the future to avoid such things mabey starts with the fact you're new & ask if someone could explain such things in a more clear manner.

I haven't asked for it. I'm just curious about the fact that most of the creators are very irregular with their update timing. For me it doesn't make sense to delay an update in order to make it bigger and just want to know the dev's reasons to do it.

And to answer you this question, you can try getting PlayHome Studio and render and position each character. It takes longer than taking a shower and something to eat, which I supposed an hour, to position and render. Take 1 render as 30mins, 800 renders takes roughly about 16.5days to render fully. Hope this answers your question.

Because I have told you the reason why the update took longer than usual, apart from the 1-2month regular update. The dev is making a huge change in the game, additional areas + mainly focusing on the continuation of the game. I don't get why you can't read.

Hey guys,
I've committed myself to a release date for the 7th November for the beta version. Here's a teaser poster I made. Couldn't post it publicly on Patreon because of their rules about nudity. Been working hard on this for months and got plenty to show for it. Over 1400 images made so far (although admittedly a lot of those are for the red butt overlay effect for all the new spanking animations), around 50,000 words or so of dialogue.

I have no doubt that some people will still tell me I haven't been working hard enough or they expect more but that's the way it goes I guess. View attachment 871768

There's a joke where a programmer's boss asks him how many lines of code he thinks it will take to release the next version of a program, so he tells him. Then the boss asks how fast he types, so he tells him. The boss does the math and says, "So you should be done by Friday."

When you're just adding content, you have the problem of deciding what the content ought to be. When you make a change to the program, it's going to take a ton of time because -- besides all of the planning that you have to do before you can write a line of code -- things are guaranteed to break and need to be rewritten several times. Hofstadter's Law kicks in. You think it will take a week, so you tell your boss that it will take two weeks, and it ends up taking a month.

As soon as the dev says that the game is being redesigned or there's some kind of code change, stop expecting regular updates.

I already was aware of this. I understand that the amount of content cannot be regular since sometimes it takes longer because shit happens. The question is that I think it is better to keep frequency of updates regular making them smaller sometimes. I just wanted to know why AltosandHerdone think otherwise.
