When is the next update coming?

TD,LR: At the moment we are 'flying blind' when it comes to a release date.

From Development Update 42, posted December 6th, 2022:

Unfortunately, at the moment I can only say that the next update is going to be delayed to early next year. By the time of my next development update, I should have some better news about the state of my health and progress on the game should be back on track.

Typically, Altos will post the last development update for a build up to a month before he releases that build as a beta. But there has been no indication that this is going to be the last development update. All we have to go off of at the moment is 'early next year' - and with all of the issues that Altos has been having, we might be looking at a March or April release. Hopefully we get it sooner though.

For his health issues, he's already revealed from his Happy Holidays post that he's been doing better now but not in a complete recovery yet! Still waiting if there's still another Dev. While there's no date to be announced yet, I can say that the development team has been pretty active lately, in terms of writing, rendering, code improvement (that'll be very useful for the next updates) and consistency issue fixing.

Last public release is Oct, and the public release before that was March. 7 ish months apart. Maybe wait til after that before you complain. At least gauge properly between releases, . No wonder, a lot of people say shit about f95 users.

This dev must hate human eyeballs... sooooo many screens that are 50+% white, white backgrounds, white clothes, white objects, just so much fuckin white... my eyeballs cannot take so much white.

People wants to defend this game so bad they inspect my comment section LMFAO.
But even if the date is not exact, the beta was still released in August and the following updates are just minor changes(and a whole part of the promised content was delayed).

White is the colour of "innoncence" and order and I wouldn't know a colour that could represent this game where we see a group of school girls being raised to success by a per... ehrm careful patron fully dedicated to the education of his protégés better than this.

One could maybe do something with the lighting in the images you show to raise the contrast between Miss Potts pale skin and the background or play with some blur to the background to put more focus on Miss Potts, but I don't know if the result would justify the effort and how much effort this would take to make this look better. In general I find a heightened usage of white for clothing and background a good colour choice for this game to highlight the self-perception of the protagonist and the presented system and the external image, they want to present.

I guess, I should have better written innocence and order. I actually thought not about the other meaning of purity, when writing, sorry. While the headmaster plays actually with totalitarism, it does in no case play with nationalsocialism. I wouldn't support that, and it was not my intention to hint on that. I will change my post accordingly. Thanks for the hint.
