Oh it has loads of story. More than most games actually. However, unlike most games, you seldom feel the need to skip past the text. Excellent writing and pacing. Every girl has a unique personality and look and the MC's motivations are clearly spelled out.

You mean we will never have headpatting or handholding (y'know, the hardcore stuff) in the game, like ever? I have to say I'm a tad disappointed.
I haven't played the latest release and now that the public version is out I am thinking of loading it up. I have perfectly good saves from the end of the last version, but I am confused about some of the changelog and now talk of chapters. AltosandHerdone, would you recommend a fresh start to see everything in the correct order and let chapter 1 play out completely before seeing the events of chapter 2 or will forging ahead from the end of the last version be fine?
