Ren'Py The Headmaster [v0.17.1 Beta] [Altos and Herdone]

I have been a bit on the boat of 'milking' myself, but after this update I don't think that does the work of Altos and his team justice. This update is great, the writing is fantastic and it's been a pleasure to play from beginning to end.

The only small downside of this update wasn't even caused by Altos, but by the 'school owners': I feel the cafetaria outfit is breaking the immersion of the game.

It worked the last time I tried it. It might be one of those cases where last step has to be a specific one. I can't remember. I will say that the fact that you can end up in this situation looks like a bug even if the event itself can be solved using a different order of actions.

This might be due to the fix of a bug I reported ages ago. If you quit prematurely it became impossible to repeat the event and Amy would become unable to progress. Now it's the other way around where you can't quit even if you accomplished the goal.

Also with Faye. After Public punishment message says to spy on Faye in the Dormitory in the evening, but there isn't an option to do this.

If I'm being honest, I only return to this game for Rachel content. Apparently that's over now.

And this dev is for sure milking this, just not at the same level as other devs... yet. You have to keep in mind that this is just Honey Select which is far easier to mass produce content for. For those who are able to remember how much content we used to get during the first 3 years of development compared to the last 3 years... it's pretty obvious. Also, the fact that there's multiple ppl working on this 1 game which other devs don't have that option and yet produce so much more content than this game kind of says a lot too.

If memory serves the final action needs to be with the cane. However I don't have the walkthrough available to me at this time to confirm. The walkthrough is accessible from the OP or from behind the 'do not press' button in the replay menu in game.

Then look at the walkthrough I mentioned. It is quite in depth and should have the answers you seek. It is more like the old prima game guides from back in the day than a straight forward 'follow this path' but it's a lot better for that imo. Also, are you using the new beta version? It is possible, however unlikely, that the new content has introduced a problem for older more established content.

I did, I tried doing it just like it said in the walktrough and it wouldn't let me continue

In that case Gegecucu might be your best bet. I believe they have a connection to the dev team. They may require your save but I'll leave them to request it if they need it.

There is a bugfixed version 0.17.2 due for release this friday (19th Dec 25)

What a buggy mess. I have overlapping menu for the punishment and it causes the game to crash
