I tried following the list. I didn't see an extracted file pop up. Or I didn't figure out how to use the decrypter...I'm nit very good at code or programming. Could you maybe post a For Dummies guide?

hi, new around here. I am trying to get The Heiress working on Steam Deck, but it keeps crashing when i try starting it up. is it possible to play on Deck with a certain proton file?

Like what Operating system this is happening on, which version, is it a PC or Laptop or Tablet, which processor and graphics card, which graphics driver version, are you using an antivirus, are you launching it with or without administrator privileges, how deep did you nest the game's executable (like "C:\Games\...\...exe")?
Well I mean it's meant to run on Windows XP so no surprise, but have you tried using joiplay for android and the patch mentioned in this post to emulate it?
If you have a PC try following the Patch Fix guide, then when you're done copy it over to your Android via usb or something.
Other then that I don't know, I don't have Android.

Can confirm that the Joiplay Patch breaks a lot of things from lewder's patch including the h-attacks. I've made a new Joiplay patch which should fix everything.
Also if you're on Joiplay and you can't see Alice in the menu as well as your gold amount copy the included patches.json file in your game folder next to Game.exe and they should display properly again

"alt+enter" to change fullscreen/window mode
"F1" to access option to "launch" game in full screen mode.
