Ye I also don't get it... Photoshop with AI tools easily you can change those. To re-render every single scene which has said posters is absurd to me. You will barely loose quality also if renders are PNG.
I started writing that book. But it needed three rewrites from scratch so far.don't get me started on reworks, at this point I could probably write a book on the subject and why I hate them so fucking much

"Dreaded"? Who cares about that tag? Most of the time it's automatic and acts more as a warning than something real. You're better off just following the thread or Patreon to know if the game is still being worked on.
Doesn't look too good. Winston was active early this year, in July/August it looked like he can solve the issues, but as he stopped the promised bi-weekly updates on Patreon, I guess the need to focus on other sources of income and the challenges out of the legal topics have been too much
Pretty uncommon to come back after getting it and often rushed to an end if it does.
Another victim of being stuck in a remake cycle, they had to remove some things from the game namely band posters for a planned Steam release, so decided to update the game while they were at it.
It was better when Steam didn't take adult games at all.
That's pretty much the last news we have afaik. Their most recent post was on August, but I believe those are only renders, nothing new about the update.
That tends to be a bad sign. A lot of them like to post renders while nothing gets done. That's why the rules are 18 months no update it's abandoned regardless of what gets posted. Some were getting around by milking posting renders and such for a VERY long time no updates. Icstor specifically.
