No heroes here and Dev doesn't even share old versions (e.g. from Dec the 1st). Means: Topic orphaned.

Because you've been thinking about my post, I'll explain it to you: you register in a pirate forum and question harmless pictures that are leaked here. But nothing has been seen of your game for weeks. If you want your game to become more popular, you should make sure that at least older versions appear here. Most devs share their latest version 1-2 weeks after its release...or making it for free at Patreon/SubStar. The previous version is from Dec the 1st, and it's still not here...so what are you waiting for?

Your honesty is nice, but you forget one thing: this forum is the biggest in AG industry. They are Devs with hundreds more Patrons than you and they are sharing their games after 1 or 2 weeks for free or leaking it himself here (Zorlun for example, after 1 week). Why he is doing it? Because he wants to see his game more popular. He don't want to see his topic "orphaned", like here it is! More poular => more fans, more patrons!
If you're waiting here for months your game wouldn't be popular. But if your game often appears at "latest updates", people more mention it and liking it more. There is no reason to wait more, you should share at least the older versions. Trust me, 6 weeks is enough time to share your old version of the game, no one of your Patrons would take offence to you.

I couldn't agree more with Fortuna, the math is there for anyone to see. Most players, especially the ones here know that they don't need Patreon/SubStar to get a good library of games, we pay donations because we want to see the developers supported and 'do our bit'. Of course there will be some who never pay and consider us fools (I think they are younger) but there are plenty of Patron accounts making big money and that is a marketing/production/communication circle. almost all the money I have given on Patreon/SubStar has gone to games I have found on here.

xxerikxx, what you are doing is an interesting marketing strategy and maybe it works.
But, as far as I can see, you are not exactly getting rich off Patreon / Subscribestar at the moment, even though this game has a story which is quite a bit above average, as well as some kinks which are not very common. So it may well be that the others are, in fact, right.

Yes, I've published updates on the text-based version of the game on F95 so hopefully that create some interest to develop the story into a visual novel.
No, I'm not getting rich and that's never been my ambition. I've been writing stories and published them for free on F95zone for several years now. I have limited programing skills, no artistic skills and my English is limited. To create a good game I therefor need a proofreader and an artist to help me.
Thanks to my Patrons I have that now. For the first time since I stared this I have someone who helps me with proofreading and I have someone who creates an illustrated version of the game. That's why I've very careful with rocking the boat at the moment. I believe that this has the potential to become a very good game, but I don't want to mess things up now.

But you don't mess things up if you post an 6 weeks old version. If you leaking it after days okay, I'm with you...but lord, 6 weeks of an old version is a lot of time if you compare it with 1-2 week leaks of the Dev's newest versions.

Violet is MC's supporting wife. I can't reveal too much but the MC will naturally be hiding the sexual relationship he develops with their daughter. Will he manage to keep it hidden? How will she react if she finds out? But unless she finds out about the relationship between MC and Angelina then she will stay supportive and have a great sexlife with MC when they're both home.

You can share old versions here after a delay, it doesn't bother me at all. I'm looking forward to every release of the text version, I'm really looking forward to reading day 16.

On the other hand for reading, I use it less and less. With the context, I can understand the meaning of the sentences even when I don't know some words, and it allows me to appreciate the games beyond the pictures.

I was really digging the text version wishing that there would be an illustrated version. Now that I know there is one I'll fork over a bit of scratch and see where this goes...

I don't understand, why publish it on this site in the first place if the intention is to abandon it? (at least on this site) Wouldn't it be easier to have offered this illustrated version to your subscribers from the beginning?

The "Marketing strategy" was to post a demo and make people aware that we are creating an illustrated version of the game, and that this game i exclusively for Patreons. We are releasing the text-based version of the game on F95 so hopefully that will make some people interested in seeing this develop into a visual novel. The finished game would will of course be available for free on F95zone.
