Joker's mod doesn't seem to be highlighting the choices correctly. Is it just me?

theres not alot of choices in this game. mod only highlights choices that matter, most of the choices are just slight text variation so when its not highlighted pick what you want. (changes nothing and does nothing)

and somehow i think there are more people who arent into incest that might not even play the game due to the tag being there which is bad for buissness.

If people don't want to try the game, then that's not a problem. All the people that spaming the gametread with discutions about their definition of incest or NTR are a problem. People don't make visual novels because they think it's good business. They create visual novels because they enjoy making visual novels. If one person enjoy the story then that's good enough for me.

the die hard crowd don't count step as incest some don't even consider half-siblings to be incest...

as to the other point i fully disagree most people (in my experiences) don't care one way or the other if its incest or not. for me it depends on the story if the story is MC lives with roommate and landlady then ya i use the patch cause the story sounds incredible stupid with lines like "i shouldn't have these feels for landlady", "its taboo to fuck you're landlay" etc

Incest isn't one of those genre that make people run away or flock together like the new christ has been born like NTR for example.. its more of a "neutral" genre for most.

as to the game itself do the animations and scene changes get better over time? (still at the beginning really just 3 days after jenny moves in with us before the trip) cause right now they abruptly change from on scene to the next, one second your in the bedroom click next now your in the kitchen for example with no hint or anything that a jump is about to take place or even a "dissolve" screen between the 2 different scenes

Yes, I think that the animator has become a lot better as the games has progressed. He has also gone back and redone some scenes that he wasn't satisfied with. The change between scenes was something that has become better as well. I've written a text-version of the game and in the beginning I just told him to replace my scene descriptions with pictures. That lead to some abrupt scene changes. I think we're getting better at it.

I'm seeing more and more of this if it doesn't have this or that tag or if this or that action takes place someone might get offended. Last time I checked this is a porn game site not the Disney channel. In the porn world most anything and everything is fare game and if one is easily offended by the various aspects of the porn world this might not be the best place to find your entertainment source. Devs create their games according to their own vision and not if someone might be offended or anyone else's likes or dislikes.

Angelina is very naive and she doesn't take responsibility when she starts to understand that she should have said something earlier. She acts like a child would react in some situation. I agree that I could have written the part about the drugging of Sophia more suggestive and made Angelina's responds more realistic.

The issue here is clearly with how tags work on this site.

Having a NTR tag is attracting a certain crowd which will be displeased if the MC turns out to be a dominant person, and because there is no NTR (in the unambiguous, heterosexual, sense) in this game.

Having incest and harem tags also attracts a certain crowd which might be displeased about the step- thing.

But certainly the crowd going for "incest and harem" tags will be turned off by just seeing the "NTR" tag.

In my opinion, the relationship between the MC and his stepdaughter is strong enough to warrant the incest tag on it's own.

Also in my opinion, this game is not about NTR at all. Whether a LI having lesbian sex with another LI is NTR or not is a long discussion. My feeling is that it isn't, unless either LI is actively trying to turn the other away from the MC, which isn't the case here.

In any case having an NTR tag will not help anybody in my opinion.

Those who are surprised about the scene could have taken the hint provided by the "male protagonist" and "lesbian" tags.

I wouldent say incest tag is needed due to MC and daughter since they are not blood related so shes pretty much just a normal girl MC has known for a long time and they can legaly do what they want since its not incest even MC tells hes daughter that.

People are diffrent and the two going being MCs back and hiding it from MC, i would say its desiged to make a player feel jealousy even more so for those not into lesbian sex, for me personaly its no diffrent then if she fucked a random guy behind MCs back, its a sexual relationship no matter gender.
It dosent help that you hear about Angelina loves being with another girl all the time and talking about her lesbian side, i am pretty sure this is how it will be going forward with Angelina being with multiple girls like Mila and proberly behind MCs back again.

And i would say Angelina was already out of her shell since MC has licked her pussy and shes played with hes dick, the only shell she came out off would be turning her into a lesbian/BI girl which is what happened.

The problem i see is when you have so many choices doing the story about such issues and when you do pick every option to stop it and it still happens, then the choices might as well not be there at all.
