These AI characters are a vast improvement over the original flat characters. The original flat and these new characters are displayed on a screen of text, just to show you who is part of the conversation. There is no view of the place they are at, no view of them blinking or mouths moving as if talking, and no movement. For that, you need to view the Illustrated version of THS.
The original flat characters represent the fictional characters in the story. The new AI characters represent the fictional characters in the story. NO BIG DIFFERENCE THERE.

To be fair, I know some folks (I'm not one of them) dislike AI renders, full stop. I could see them hating the change in general, regardless of how few renders of girls in this version of the game there might be. People like what they like. I just think we don't really need a post effectively saying "Unfollow, unsubscribe, angry, frustrated, hate, bye!" If I decide I don't like a game, I unwatch its thread and then don't visit that or play the game in the future.

The text based version has been going a bit slower the last few months, but don't worry the story is still in progress. However the 0.60 version has not been presented for the Patreons yet, so it will take some time before it turns up here.

One of the reasons why it takes longer time with this update is that I have decided to replace the stills with AI-generated pictures. It's still a text-based games without renders, but hopefully it will be a better visual presentations. I've also put in some nudes in the sex-scenes, so there will be something to unlock.

Once you notice the creepy uncanny valley stuff on the AI pics, you can't unsee it. For these, it's the arms that get me. The pic generator doesn't understand how human arms work, so it renders them in an odd, totally unnatural way. At least the samples don't show the fingers, so we don't have to worry about 6 or more fingers and multiple thumbs that the image generators love to do... (just saw one of the pics in the OP has a girl with 3 fingers...)

I read there was a gallery and got excited, only to find it is nothing but a picture gallery. Can we please get a scene gallery instead? Picture galleries are boring, you can find pictures anywhere, on every porn site. Written scenes? That's the good stuff.

Ah, as of this latest release. But if they're still based on the Daz models, it should still look at least mostly the same. And what I said about unwatching is still true.

Edit: I was wrong; they look completely different. Weird choice to do that over halfway through the game. Xxerikxx, I assume this will be applied to the Illustrated version of the game as well, right?

Damm the AI models look nice, dont get all the hate AI cg get tbh.
a couple of years ago DAZ models were fugly, look at most of them now.
It should also save boatloads of time to devs.

I don't understand why people focus on the pictures in a game that's marked text-based. If picture is important to you the don't play text-based games. The pictures are just an afterthought or something that should help the players remember who the character are.
