I was going to delete this as Off Topic (since it is), but I decided not to. You have been sending absolutely unhinged reports, tickets, and comments since before 2022 and we've been dealing with it professionally the entire time.
- Most recent ticket: Complaining that both Part 1 and Part 2 are in the same thread. It deserves it's own thread solely because the art is superior and deserves to have it's own thread. As the developer you felt that was your right.
- No. We have enough thread bloat as is.
- Most recent report: "This is killing my game. I know that this is a pirate site but posting my games on this site before I have posted it to my Patreons? They have been waiting for 7 months and paid me and helped me develop the game. This is killing a good game and forcing me to give up."
- I tell you the following: Your patrons are the ones leaking it, not us. Find the leak and close it.
- Then like a victim you blame us, the site, for YOUR patrons leaking it. Now you blame the Compressors who got said links from YOUR patrons for making compressions.
- Marked the game complete of your own accord and tried blaming us because you have a screw loose and can't accept the fact it's not our fault, but YOUR patrons.
- Attacked another user calling them an asshole, playing the victim card for something that's out of everyone's control except the companies that caused that loss in the first place. Then threatened to make the game fail and abandon it just because someone leaked it.
- In the past you've done the following:
- Accused us of deleting your banner and replacing with a custom F95 Zone banner to somehow hurt your image (we didn't).
- Spammed "Fuck You" accusations in spam reports without informing the staff what is going on.
- In private DMs we'd explain the process of how the site worked (simple processes mind you) and you'd double down on some paranoid, victimizing narrative.
Any further BS that I have to delete because you decide to have a moment is just going to get you thread banned from your own game. This isn't the place to vent, this is about the game itself. Keep it about the game itself. And as a reminder since apparently you need it
READ THE RULES.
For more than 5 years I have created free games and free content for this site and all I've ever been given in return from moderators is arrogance and disrespect.
The worst example was when I asked them for help after someone had changed the banner in a game-thread where I was the owner. I contacted moderators to figure out what had happen but got in response that they didn't know. I asked if there existed some sort of log that could show who had made changes. I didn't get a clear answer, so I followed up by asking if there was anyone beside me and moderators who would have access to making changes to the original thread-post. For some reason this question provoked moderators so much that I was given an official warning. This was the kind of warning that I needed to accept to get access back on f95zone. At first, I didn't want to push the "I accept" button because I couldn't understand that I had done anything wrong. I tried to contact F95zone on mail and Discord but didn't get any responds. Eventually I accepted the warning so I could create a new ticket on F95zone asking why I was given a warning. They changed the status of my ticket to “solved” without giving me an answer or solving anything. I tried to create a couple more tickets, but the same thing happened again. At this point I was very annoyed, and I started asking who the fuck had changed the banner and why had I been given a warning. After not getting any responds I wrote "fuck you" in the reports a few times. This time I got a respond in the form of another warning and lost ownership over my own gamethread.
I'm not the easiest developer to deal with and I get provoked when someone disrespects me or my patreons. This happened last month when someone was stupid enough to share an early-access version of The Higher Society part 2 before I had the opportunity to share it with my loyal patreons who had been waiting 7 months for this update. I had a rant in the game-thread where I wrote how I felt about those who did this. I used some naughty words and received another official warning.
For some reason the moderator didn't feel that was punishment enough, so he wrote the stuff I'm quoting above, where he tries to provoke me by spreading misinformation and lies. Claiming that I had sent unhinged reports, tickets, and comments. He also claimed that I had blamed f95zone for leaking the game and that I had threatened to make the game fail and abandon it.
I of course understand that the idiot who shared the game on this site is to blame and that's the person that I'm ranting against, not f95zone. He clearly follows the gamethread on f95zone so this was the right place to rant and try to make him understand that his action is not only hurting me but everyone who wants the game to continue.
That is of course not a threat like Symphatic claims. I am trying desperately to prevent this game from getting abandoned. I have spent a lot of money and several years developing this game and nobody will be sadder than me if we can't afford to finish the development.
I know that not all moderators on F95zone are like Symphatic, many are probably doing their best in helping both players and developers. Unfortunately, the overall impression as a developer is not positive. For some reason many moderators on f95zone treat developers as the enemy and ttryto get rid of us.
Hopefully this will change someday. I have nothing against pirate-sites but think this site could be better if it worked together with developers instead of against them.
Having posted this in this game-thread (Since I'm banned from my other game-thread) will probably get me banned from this thread as well. So, if someone reads this before it gets removed let me just say thank you to everyone who has played my games, and I will keep on trying to find a way to finish the illustrated version of The Higher Society.
