No, I'm sure that some people prefer this version.

I was hoping that the illustrated version would come out with monthly updates this year, but since I only have 10 percent of the Patreons I had last year, I can't afford to create more than 2 updates this year. With this pace we will all be dead before the illustrated version catch up with the text based version

I’m not so sure about that. I actually like Version 2 better too – the drawings and models are clearly improved. So I guess now we’re both sitting here and are sad...

Really? That's surprising, frankly. Have you been able to track the cause of the decline?

First of all my original artist ghosted me this winter, so for several months I didn't have any content to give to my patreons. In April I hired a new artist to work for me, but the models he created looked too young, so when I naively presented preview pictures on Patreon the site was taken down by Patron. This meant that I lost all my Patreons and also all the money I had saved. After a couple of month I was allowed to start a new site on Patreons, but I needed to build followers from scratch. I was hoping that the release of THS Part 2 would bring some Patreons back but when someone published a early access version on a pirate site before the game was released to my patreons it had the opposite effect. More Patreons left and now I have a lot of bills and very little income from this game.
