I tried using that on BasicData.wolf but I just end up with an empty BasicData folder. For context I'm trying to use
this english translation fix but since it is a couple versions old it is missing a few newer images in the BasicData folder and results in errors in the game. Do you know any other ways to decode .wolf files?
ok, prob you aren't doing what I told you:
Here's a little tutorial with example of what I'm doing to decrypt 1.72 files:
1.- First get DxaDecode.exe (Ver1.08) save it inside Data folder:
2.- Open a cmd (Win+R & type cmd):
3.-Lets change directory, Type cd C:\(Data folder directory) and press *ENTER*, in my example is inside my music library so it is C:\Users\Alex\Music\The Imperial Gatekeeper\TIGKv1.72 [VANILLA]\Data (can be seen in the very first Picture)
4.- Lets Run DxaDecode from here, Type DxaDecode.exe -K:WLFRPrO!p(;s5((8P@((UFWlu$#5(= *FILE NAME*.wolf in my example is DxaDecode.exe -K:WLFRPrO!p(;s5((8P@((UFWlu$#5(= BasicData.wolf and press *ENTER*
And you're done! Repeat step 4 for all the files you need to decode.
Hope this to be helpful and share custom made characters with me
