I played the game for the first time in the last release (0.08.02) but stopped before the "Spend with Joana" arc. Sandbox mode. When I started playing again in 0.08.03, the game crashed when Linda Mae was supposed to send a pic of Carrie:
Sorry if this has already been reported. Otherwise, any suggestions? The game returns to title screen after a few more errors if I try to ignore.
Edit 1:
I ended up extracting the problem file and removing the line that caused the error:
game/days/girl_days/joana/joana_day.rpy: line 516
That prevented the error from occurring, but it seems to cause MC's "I think I'll go to the kitchen" thought appear too soon. Small price to pay to continue playing though.
Edit 2:
Realized I didn't have the patch installed, and for whatever reason that changes things and the error still occurs with the workaround. Oh, well. At least a save made with the workaround and no patch works fine after installing the patch.

This game has probably the most astute understanding of the psychology of its player-base I've seen so far[1]. Dev is either a University Professor in Psychology or a professional Poker player judging by the sheer self-aware manner in which it hits all the buttons. I'd even say probably too self-aware: sometimes you gotta let the leash go and just put the smut out (e.g. the anti-Reddit Horse-head mask joke no longer works as Reddit itself has become so overly commercialised / up for a Stock Market listing so the very cringe niche of 'bad socially maladjusted memes' it used to create has ceased to exist).
That said, the ultra-high quality renders & slow update pace probably mean it won't get finished. Shame, the dev is a smart cookie.
[1] You should immediately realise that those annoying achievement pop-ups are a meta-joke about the general design of pr0n games; you should also instantly realise that none of the stats matter and are there simply to hit the dopamine button as well. That's a cynical / smart joke.

I'm sorry I've been mia for so long (and probably will be going mia again soon), but just want to congratulate u on these 5 years on this project, can't believe its been 5 years

You'd need at least a week in the relatives' house to get back to the Inn. Current build manages two (2) days with like 50% of a third. There's not enough content to even pretend getting back to the inn is a problem at this point.spot on, but but.. i was kinda interested in the inn tbh it just went poof
I mean, it's easy enough to write: either you go full disaster where the dead husband's will suddenly gets everything given to the cat / mistress no-one knew about so Family is homeless and needs to live in the Inn, or full waifu adventure where the entire family decides to pack up and go to the wilderness with the MC but it's easy enough to write.
An original writer would just pull something like "OMG, flood is happening, OH NOES [insert many gratuitous wet clothes scenes], WE ALL SHOULD HEAD TO THE HIGH GROUND (that happens to be the Inn)".
Literally complaining about the wrong thing here. Project didn't hit the inn because it didn't get to a point where writing the inn back in was even on the cards.

Yeah, the issue with being away from the titular Inn isn't the story length, it's the development length that makes it seem so much longer than it is. Nothing to do but be patient.
I think the game is inncredibly inntertaining so far. Even if we're totally innless right now.
