What's up people?
So, addressing the elephant in the room, you may have noticed that last month went by with no devlog at all.
The main reason for it is that I got very busy preparing everything to move to a new house.
Between preparing stuff, boxing, cleaning the new place and then dealing with all the organization I was left with barely any time to work on the game.
That being said, I did a good chunk of progress, all things considered.
Wrote all the dialogue for the update, managed to create the environment for Linda's Farm, and even got some scene work done.
Linda's farm is what took me the most time, if I may be honest.
It's a big environment, full of details and, if you been here for a while, you know I can get a bit carried away with them...
I also took some time to rewrite the Event handling class, some methods of the Girl and Location classes.
The new Event class was rewritten to use a stage system instead of the simple 1 step it used previously.
This allows me better Event control and eliminates the need to create a new Event for every step in a big chain of Events.
I have also added a more robust, easier requirement system for the Events, this is in preparations for when true Free Roam and Sandboxing is introduced. Which should be soon-ish... Maybe... I think...
The changes in the Girl and Location classes were made to accomodate the new additions to the Event class.
It goes without saying but you'll really only notice the difference if you play on Normal Mode, and even so, if you pay attention to details.
So yeah, most of the free time I had last month was spent on writting dialogue and coding, with a bit of it dedicated to environment work.

Any plans to re-add the option to set images from the "extra" menu as wallpapers for the phone again?
Also, my saves for chapter 2 shows sounding as a disabled fetish, even though I'm 100% sure I had every fetish turned on in my chapter 1 save, which was imported to chapter 2.
Anyone here know how to unlock the 2 alternate Val and Joana phone images (not participated and no sex respectively) through URM? Having them permanently locked annoys me, but they're normally mutually exclusive pictures.

I... Never disabled that...
I'll have to look into it, maybe I forgot to set something for chapter 2.
If I recall correctly that was fixed in 1.01.02.
No wait... I think it was fixed in the full 1.00.00 build.
You may need to re-run the metadata generation with that build.

I should have removed the variants from the phone gallery, but I keep forgetting about it.

This was a save from a playthrough I started in 1.00.00, so the issue isn't because of that, but if you know the variable name for the fetish I'll just turn it on with URM.

Yea, I noticed the same graphical quirk on "Munshein" ... but it seemed like something you'd mess with just for shits and giggles ... especially if you could spell Moonshine three different ways on one image ^_^

URM is known to not work with my game and even break it completely.
The variable for that is set in the Player class, it should be
player.sounding_enabled and it's Boolean.

The word is deliberately written wrong.
That sign is supposed to have been made by Cletus, and he's, to put it midly, somewhat intelectually impaired.

I think I know what the issue is, that variable does not exist in chapter 2, the variables for the others do, although the pee drinking fetish is named slightly different compared to the others, but the one for enabling sounding doesn't exist.

Got a question. I downloaded the newest version recently and when I go to the replay gallery it only displays the new scenes. Do I need a copy of the previous build?

If you've never played Part 1, you need Part 1. I haven't actually checked the galleries in part 2 yet, but I imagine you only see the galleries in the part they happen.

Chapter 2 doesn't have any content from Chapter 1, hence none of the replays.
Chapter 1 replays can only be seen in the Chapter 1 build.
