VN Ren'Py Completed The Interim Domain [v0.31.0] [ILSProductions]

So I finished The Interim Domain and I have to say this AVN is an absolute masterpiece I played Now and Then and loved it but Interim Domain is absolutely on another level, I have never played any other AVN that evoked such raw emotions in me it made me think a lot about the afterlife, the struggles of human, life and just humans in general it sort of changed my views on a lot of stuff and also made me question a lot of things about what comes after death its so thought provoking I loved it although it did give me sometimes a bit of anxiety lol

As for the endings they where amazing a bit bittersweet because other than Selene, Mira and Polly all the girls loose their memories but I guess its all part of the cycle it was a nice touch in detail that lots of the girls sort of had dejavu moments like they felt that they know MC from before. I think my favorite ending was Selenes I loved the fact that if you choose her she keeps her memories its actually funny that she became my favorite because I disliked her at first but loved her at the end same happen to me with Hanna in Now and Then who I disliked at first but loved her in the end.

The only thing I do wish the game had was an ending with both Mira and Polly throuple it was so so heartbreaking only choosing one and seeing that the one you dint choose is still watching over you even if you dint pick them its so sad it made me cry a little it also felt a little cruel to the other girl entende you don't choose having to sit there and just see the love of their life and their best friend be happy together without them.

I really cant wait for the directors cut or extra content planned for the game I remember loving the one for Now and Then its amazing to see such a talented dev put so much care and love to his works I will say Interim Domain is probably my first or second most liked AVN of all time Its been a couple days and I wont lie I cant stop thinking about The Interim Domain.

I'm hoping for a variety of throuples, including:

Mira/Apollyon
Selene/Natalie
Tina/Robin

I don't know if we are going to get them all, but the DC will be delivering a number of poly relationships and some kind of harem (they are working on Act 3 now and, based on the various dev logs - there are major rewrites going on).

Whatever we get - it will just add to the TID experience that I really got into once this AVN hit its stride.

Honestly that's exciting to hear the game is a masterpiece but I felt like a little something was missing in the game and yea mostly for me is throuples and poly relationships with girls that fit and feel natural like Mira/Poly, Tina/Robin, Marissa/ Anita and many others especially Mira/Poly that one hurt the most for me there not being a route for both of them and having to choose one while letting the other one just watch over them like a lonely third wheel that cant even speak to them properly.

One thing I do know that what ever the dev does decide to make its going to be good all his game have been absolutely fantastic and Now and Then directors cut added a lot of new routes and stuff so I have faith also its another convenient excuse for me to spend a couple of several more hours replaying the whole game once again when the directors cut releases.

As for Selene/Natalie, that's something different. Don't get me wrong, I would be first in the line to watch that ending, but the Patreon T&Cs looms large over them being sisters and all. Incest is something that the big P (in certain cases) has acted on. In this case given that the MC is not related to Selene and Natalie there is some hope, but maybe the developer don't want to risk it. Or maybe they can find a creative way to implement around it (and I don't mean the step-xxxx thing).
So it is possible? Yes. Likely, not sure on this one. At least not as sure as Mira+Polly and Tina+Robin

Wouldn't it be fine if Selene and Natalie are just both together with the MC, just obvius no romance/action between the sisters (thought that wouldn't change anything from how it is) and if you really want to be on the save side no threesomes.

Yes and no ...

That feels like it would actually be a step back from the 3sum with Selene and Natalie near the end of Natalie's story arc.

If there was a way to 'safely' keep that level of hotness in the Selene/Natalie Poly - that would still be great (although I'd like more OC )!

We'll see.

I shifted my support to SS a while ago and I am hoping a number of others have as well.

You never know when the next Patreon crusade will be launched, and I would not want Kinderfeld to draw fire from the Patreon Inquisition.

Best way than explaining in detail how is advising you to follow the pdf/text walkthrough that is in the OP links, it leads you to a post that have a link for it. It shows how you get most the QI necessary to get the endings when the main story finishes.

So the Qi is needed only for the endings ryt? I won't miss any of the scenes/meeting a character? I am using the multi mod and I guess that gives the options to get all the endings.

It depends on where you are with the stories of the women involved in the combo scenes.

You can miss some combo scenes for a variety of reasons, like having already sent on one of the women who would have been involved.

I recommend using the WT as a guide if you want to be sure to avoid missing any combo scenes.

Also - if you do not max out Alison/Mira story scenes, you will miss out on some of their content - there is no way to catch back up with this as it is story driven, and not skippable without consequence.

I know this because I borked it by choosing an extra Apollyon scene versus going back with Mira and I had to go back many days to a save before that choice and redo it - I did not want to miss out on content even though I could still use the gallery viewer to see some of the missed parts in gallery.

Dev Log May 6, 2025


The Interim Domain 0.99.0 Update:



We're getting to the end of Act 2, with a few new scenes left to shoot and code, but once that's finished, we'll move fully into the final act, which comes with all new content, new locations, and the expected outcome for a Harem ending. Plus, we have to figure out how to make a touching resolution for a story that's been in development for over three years now.

Also, while thinking about the walkthrough, I thought "Oh, there won't be any need to add this to it" before I recalled that there are a few meaningful choices buried in there. And, also, maybe having to point out some tips on how to get everything so you can unlock the new ending. So, there's that.

The Director's Cut adds to/changes TID (to add in a harem ending) but the story is already complete.

Think of it like DLC - something extra.

I'm so glad I came back to play this VN after bouncing off of it years ago. Few other VNs have made me as emotional as I was for the end of this.
I finished the stories of all the girls even tho I preferred some girls more, and I'm glad I put in the time to do that. Seeing them disappear at their end brough tears to my eyes.

Mira, Polly, Tina, Kaitlyn, Selene and Anya were my favorites and I like that we get to to have an ending with each one of them.

Cannot wait for the director's cut.

Yes - if you use the WT, it will ID the choices needed to make sure that all the women are available as your chosen companion when the new world is created.

FYI - there is a Director's Cut coming that will include multi-women endings (and significant new content to support these endings).

It is scheduled to be out this year.
