If I remember correctly, weird shit with the flowers started from the beginning of the game.

And a completely lifeless resort island with an empty hotel and beaches is a bit alarming.

Not only did the flowers begin toward the start of the game, the flowers are the key to the entire story. They are what started the real trouble. If you do not remember, you should go back and check again. It is really important. It explains (almost) everything.

to be honest, this is one of the few VNs that keep me in an ambivalent state. I support both Inanna's version of events, but I also sympathize with MC. Although at first I was closer to MC. But MC, with his excessive stubbornness, rather harms everything, even if he is driven by childhood traumas in his rejection of Inanna's path. I have the feeling that he is incapable of growing up or something.

Being stuck is very typical for childhood trauma. The characters are well written and thought out.

He is cool and has it's way with the ladies, but he also has a bit of growing up to do.
I think this will happen when he reunites with his mother. Plot twist: His mother is an evil sadistic witch that always hated him and he was right all along. Unlikely though, it's gonna be way more interesting.

You know what's funny?
If you said "MC" first i was wondering who you are talking about, until i realized you mean Michael. Next to Inanna, Liv, his Mother, Kate and Alice i kinda see him more as a member of the cast rather than "THE main character".

both. if mc is a fem char then it's fmc or just mc and then meets guy then that is male char.

To be honest, I haven't understood much of the story. The time aspect may play a role...
I guess, when it is completed, I will have to play it again to perhaps understand it - which isn't necessarily a bad thing...

If you have not read the story from the beginning to the end of the current update, I am sure it is very confusing. There is a lot going on, and much of it is a real distraction from the main story which is hard to follow as it is. You need to pay close attention to everything that happens in order to understand what has been happening over a long period of time before the game even started, to create the basis of this story. There are many hints as to what started it all. Remember them all, and everything will become clear... well sort of .
