I've only been able to trigger the lesbian scene with Cassie once and the jam requires a sugar ingredient I have yet to find anywhere.

You need sugar canes for the sugar part. From memory, you can find plenty of those in the swamp area

Do they not sparkle like the other things you can pick up? I've been clearing every screen but have not found any.

I went and played through again and it turns out I just didn't make it far enough last time before getting a game over. You either have to somewhat ignore resource collection early on or save scum if you want to make it past the early game.
I fixed this bug. It will be available in the next version. I made the Cassie escorting to the new camp task mandatory. E.G. you won't be able to venture in the swamp if you didnt get her to the Cliffside camp first.
Thanks for the bug repport! I have fragmented the game in maps copies to fix Cassie bad behaviour and totally forgot to add these new locations to the safe area array. It is fixed in my current dev version.
Going to the herd camp and onwards in the story seems to lock you into a situation where you cant reduce your PR with cassie for example atm and thus can´t really play the game just for fun, or am I missing something?
You need to complete the Temple quest line in order to leave the general area (e.g. the blowgun girl will let you go). The Temple will give you a +20 to your PR pool and possibly reduce your PR as well. If you fail, your character will become one of the herd
Yes I did all that but the same issue still holds true that it atm locks you into a situation where you can´t recude your PR after that and have to wait for a future update to actually play around that area outside of doing the main story quests.
I was trying to look for a way to play around the pheromones and pregnancy but without the female on female action with cassie you can only go a few days before going primal.
Oh ok! You have reached the end of content. Gotcha. Yeah unless you craft Red Berry Jam, there is no PR reduction mechanism at the moment.

The recipe should be shown in cooking station. You need 20 berries and 1 sugar juice. Try returning to the Cliffside Camp after. If you didnt completed the First Contact quest first, the game send you on a search & rescue mission to find her (to complete the First Contact quest) then return to your camp and she should spawn when you get near the tent.
