Hello, I wanted to know when there will be a new update because I've seen that nothing has happened here for almost a year and now I'm wondering if there's still interest in developing the game further? Or if they should leave the game unfinished. I know it's free and people invest a lot of their time in it, but I'd like to say what the final phase is. That would be nice. I really like the game and I have lots of ideas, but I don't know how to implement them.

As far as I know, it hasn't been abandoned. I'm looking forward to it, but nobody knows when it will be released. Nobody really knows what the current status is. There are very few posts here about the current status. I know it takes a lot of time and it's mostly free. What I find a bit of a shame is that you're trying to juggle two things, meaning you're concentrating on several things, which isn't good. Please, dear developer, put 100% of your development into The Island, because it's been neglected for a year now, which I find a bit of a shame. You're doing a great job. I would even buy the game The Island, I must say, but only if 100% focus is put on it and if you tell us here regularly how and where what the current status is. I don't want to attack the developer either, because I know how difficult it is to make a game like this and how much sweat and tears go into it, and how many sleepless nights it causes. I hope you understand my concerns and take this as a complaint that won't offend you. should .

For everyone wondering when the next update will be ...
I am pretty sure ... RPGM Island is dead ... the engine is too limited for the project´s ambitions
As tempting as an UE5 Island would be ... I doubt it will come anytime soon
At this point a port to UE5 would be more like a remake ... from scratch ... and considering the Dev´s other projects
For those clinging to The Island as is ... a workaround for the Now Loading issue ...
If stuck with the Now Loading screen after level-change/switching maps ... F5 out and load the latest Autosave
Despite the bug ... the game creates a valid autosave ...
Golden rule for any RPG out there ... save quick, save often or save at least regularly then you can always F5 out and reload your latest save ... without losing too much progress

I personally think RPGM is better then nothing.
She has a UE version of The Island, but it was not going anywhere, so she started losing subscribers. And then she decided to make a Ren'Py game

It is an school sim with an option to get pregnant. Rather buggy at this stage.
I just checked this game - "The Island" looks better (my personal opinion). There are too many AI game now and I don't think they are very popular (but I might be wrong).
I hope the Developer continue "The Island" (either RPGM or Unity).
since it seems like the consensus that this game is abandoned, would it be possible if someone could upload the premium/gallery version please?

shhhhh let the dev finish the other game "NSFW" and get to this one in due time.. he does great work, might make this one even better later.
