For God's sake! Put in a dialog box opacity slider already! Having that dark box at the bottom of the screen is a waste and blocks too much of the scenes. Also, putting a text outline will allow it to be readable without the text box. Every game/vn should delete the text box. Just so all of us can admire the artwork better. Yes, renders and characters are artwork. Anyone who says otherwise is a complete idiot.

I've done this. And most of the time. the game freezes for a short time. just easier to implement a slider (to give the option to have a text box) or delete all together.

Just simply use the "y_outline.rpy" file.
Download it here on this forum, put it in the 'game' folder of any game ... et voila, no more textbox !
