Sup. Xan From JOIGang here.

I know better than to try to ask you to take down our leaks, so instead I'll just butt in for a moment to say hi and second what Sin (Chillanimejoi) was saying before. The HJOI niche sure did change a lot in the past years and yeah, there's a ton of shit quality content out there because many people think this is an easy way to make money. Fortunately this doesn't work and nearly every creator that tries to just spam patreon-exclusive content doesn't even pass the $100 mark on their Patreons. Hopefully people will soon start to notice that it's just a waste of time and will stop ruining our little porn niche.

The other thing that Sin said is also true. It usually takes over a hundred hours just to make one mid-length vid. It also takes a lot of talent if they're voice acted too. It sucks that we're in a niche, since this means we don't make enough money to commission custom art for our vids, but I'd like to think that the artists benefit from the situation as well because we kind of serve as free advertisement for their work and we never use their patreon exclusive art for our projects.

Anyways, I hope that, if you like our leaked content, you'll still consider supporting us. We aren't monetized on Pornhub so the money we make from exclusive content is our only source of income that pays for our bills. If you can't support us and you're watching the leaked stuff because you can't afford to pay, no worries, I get that. I'm from a country where currency is kinda shit, so paying $10 for me is like paying $40 for people living in the west, so I could never really afford to pay for porn either lol.

Enjoy your fap and me and Bunny (writer/VA, the other half of JOIGang) hope you like it. Feel free to leave feedback if you feel like we can improve on something.

Cheers.
I'm glad to know that there are people who notice others situations I myself does not have money to just go to patreon and stuff and if i could i would def support

Does anyone have DivineJOI? Especially Summer Challenge. I don't like requesting without contributing but creators go like "It's just 5 bucks" while I live with 40$ a month in a shitty third-world country. I simply don't have "5 bucks" to pay for some anime pictures and words, sorry.
As far as I know there is only this link:

Came here for a quick nut, but this whole thing has been a complete turn off. Wanted to rub one out, but this has rubbed me the wrong way. The absolute gall to monetize/profit off fanfics based on copyrighted characters and uncredited fan art. There is no way JOI creators can take the moral high ground here. Is it free, quick, or easy to produce? No, but that’s why fan work is called a labor of love. Fan work is supposed to be appreciation of the source material and a gift to the fans. We can be real here, the main reason this genre drew an audience to make money from was because of the well-known characters. Otherwise, we’d just watch some random ass hentai or JOI with much better quality and production. People just wanted to fulfill their Deep ♂ Dark ♂ Fantasies. There are many people who write fanfic, create fan art, and video edit hours of YouTube fan compilations for free. In the early days, we had early access and online tip jars which was completely fine. But locking stuff behind a paywall is absolutely scummy unless it’s completely original work. If the content is original, I don’t care what you do with your Patreon. Get that bread and focus on you. The moment you try to make money off an intellectual property, that’s called taking advantage.

It became a problem when people started seeing it as just another way to make money

Just when I thought I was out...they pull me back in.

The entirety of the doujin/fanart for Japanese media is built on this symbiotic relationship. You think the blue archive devs are going

"Noooo, they keep drawing lewd Asuna fanart"

No, they're fucking ecstatic that their game is getting so much attention. This is the way it works. It's how you get comiket, with these companies having their own booths/announcement right alongside 4 warehouses of people selling porn of their work.

I'm not going to copy what Xan said about helping the artists. That's just utterly ridiculous and I don't like that part of JOIs, but the IP stuff? Nah, fuck that as a complaint. (For the record, I do use paywalled art, but I actually pay for it.)

For a start, my succubus videos are among my most popular which is nothing to do with the well known characters. First one broke 1 mil views on PH before they removed it.

Secondly, please point me to all these JOI with much better quality and production that provide the same thing. The stuff I make, the whole turning sex into more of a game doesn't exist elsewhere. I know because I'd be watching it. Even in games it doesn't exist.

The entirety of the doujin/fanart for Japanese media is built on this symbiotic relationship.
Doujin is built around the idea that a group of like-minded people can share an interest in something. Doujinshi traces its origins to doujin zasshi or “fanzines”. It’s a common misconception that doujin is synonymous with fanart. For the majority of doujin culture’s history, it was comprised of original works created by small circles who were fans of a medium, not any particular series. Doujinshi is not inherently derivative work and becoming parody work is a much more recent event. It was only born around the 70s at doujin faires.

This is the way it works. It's how you get comiket, with these companies having their own booths/announcement right alongside 4 warehouses of people selling porn of their work.
This little history lesson brings us back to the original topic. The whole point of a convention/market/faire like Comiket, is that copyright holders allow their work to be sold by giving a permit/license during the event. We can look at the rules and guidelines of these conventions. Take Otakon for example.

The Following Items may be sold:

  • Any product featuring an artist's original character.
  • Commissioned and hand-drawn works made during the convention, provided that they do not violate any other rule.
  • Unique, individual, hand-made items
  • Fan art which clearly shows that the work is produced by the artist, rather than by the license holder.
  • Props that are clearly made by the artist that are original rather than of a licensed nature.
The following items are prohibited from sale:

  • Any work with trademarks, logos or official artwork owned by a person or company other than you or your own company, regardless of whether or not the work is original, unless express written permission to sell same is provided.
  • Bootleg products.
  • Copyright-violating traced, photoshopped, or transferred art. This includes but is not limited to work from "redraw" projects, and pixel artwork, such as perler or other forms of sprites, which directly copy a licensed work.
  • 2nd or 3rd party art/sales.
  • Products that can be bought at a store either in Japan or the US that you did not create.
  • Props that are a replication of a copyrighted and/or licensed nature.
  • Images must be original artwork, not referencing or using another person or companies’ intellectual property to create, unless commissioned or authorized by the copyright holder.
These are creators of fan work that respect and care about the original work enough to go through the proper channels and not just selling unlicensed stuff online. Doujinshi are primarily sold in two different ways: Directly by these creators who are permitted to sell at a convention or in a specialist doujinshi store. Buying anywhere else means it is most likely unauthorized.
