She did have no intention of going back to him though. She says as much. You can see it, because he does still want her after that and she does not go back to him.
She says directly that the purpose of that "show" is to get Satoshi to hate her, so that he can have a clean break. And yes, it is incredibly cruel. And it's isn't very smart. Because Mary didn't know how determined Satoshi became to win her back after the arato incident, she thought that this would be a final break for them.
She didn't have any intention to get back to him when she proposed those dates even. They weren't really tests, Satoshi never had any chance of winning them. Marys intention with those dates was to tell Satoshi about his flaws that she perceived during their relationship so he wouldn't repeat them when he dates someone else.
It wasn't a good way to do that, but that was still the intention of mary. After the Arato incident, there was not way for satoshi to get mary back. They were basically already broken up and what mary did was meant to prepare Satoshi for the future, even if it did so in a very bad way.
Kendo didn't make her do the show, Kendo didn't even know that was what was happening until it already started. And Kendo's sex certainly isn't the reason why she still doesn't get back with Satoshi after. They had sex marathons like this plenty of times before.
If you seriously think that Mary had any intention of getting back with Satoshi at all when she organised that "show" then you just didn't pay attention.

From what he said during the first release which you can read up in the first pages of this thread is that Satoshis route is the true canon ending and that his intentions always were to write a ending that ends positively in Satoshis relationship regardless of Kento and Arato.

I absolutely respect your analysis, your thoughts, but we are talking about an NTR game, and I see 3 paths, and in all three, Sathoshi is a loser, except for the ending due to him, while in the other two, he exits always defeated, he comes out partially defeated even in the one where he goes away with Mary, but if on 3 paths, Mary faces three different choices based on events, I don't see all this love, I see a beautiful girl who has having only had Sathoshi as a male figure, now that she has interacted with more active, more authoritarian, more expert figures, Mary gives her account of what is best for her, they are both young, they are not engaged to be married, therefore, I see perfectly that in the three finals, for MAry, the most wrong one is Sathoshi, I'm not saying that he will have to marry Kendo or Arato, but the two are a thousand steps ahead of the loser Sathoshi, just to play a bit, Satoshi isn't interested in someone like MAry, he proven to have nice wide legs for other men, the way Sathoshi is, we need another type of girl, that's what I see in the game, the unsuitability of the couple.

I agree that Kendo isn't some pure evil villain that wants to ruin his nephew's life because it makes him feel good, and he probably means well when he tries to give Satoshi advice, but at the end of the day he's still screwing the shit out of his nephew's girlfriend for his own pleasure (even in front of him sometimes). Kendo is by no means a good person here. Satoshi isn't great either, but I just think it's out of immaturity. Satoshi is a young college student that doesn't really understand the effort it takes to be in a relationship yet, so this pretty much became a learning experience to help him grow up and find his nuts (No, I don't mean Kendo sees this as a lesson, he clearly just wants some grade-A pussy). The game's been very fun so far, and I'm excited to see what the dev has in store for every route regardless of what I think about Satoshi's future route.
Is Kendo evil? Is Mary literally Satan? At the end of the day, there's no one who can give a proper answer to these questions...
