That was not the reason it was banned. Blackmail part in the beginning was, atleast official, the reason it got banned. Got this from the dev himself. But yes, the challenge would've likely become a problem in the end regardless.

It got kicked off Patreon for the coercion/blackmail-version of the scene with Rosaline. Even if that was reworked, it would get off in the future for the incest which, while it won't be mandatory, will be in the game eventually.
The last release was February 2024, so it was a little over 10 months for the updates. The reasons for the length, according to the dev, were a fire in the apartment, then almost becoming homeless due to landlord blaming him for said fire, then not having AC so he couldn't render during the summer since his PC would overheat. Since then, he has bought more powerful graphics cards and a small AC unit to cool the room with the computer. Optimistic ETA for next update is 3–4 months., no promises™. Whether or not the dev will meet said goals remains to be scene.

Thank you for the real explanation. Seems like a weird hill to die on, since in the grand scheme of things that Rosaline scene was pretty minor.

I just tried playing this game for the first time and wow I'm impressed. This is one of the few rare games that actually have likeable characters with fun banter. Character like Donnie in other game would've been relegated to 100% comic relief that offers absolutely nothing else other than playing the idiot loser guy friend role. But here, Donnie is a fun idiot guy friend role (and not a loser!) that everyone actually likes and gets along with because he's a good character. Victoria said it best.
The scene in the bus station and the bus where everyone talks is one of my favorite scene in any AVN. The dialogue just flows so naturally. We get the funny bits, we get the serious bits, and we get the sad bits too. I have only seen these characters for a short while, but I feel like I already know these characters for years. This is really impressive.
I also really appreciate the detail in the participation of the characters. When Ariana asked the story of how MC and Donnie became friends, she made a joke about not much talking when they hung out together, then Tiny pointed to Lexa who gave Ariana a death stare. So Ariana backpedaled into talking about "studying" instead. Then Lizzie jumped in to the conversation again before MC finally started telling the story. The fact that multiple characters got involved is really attention to detail that we don't get to see much in most other AVNs. Yet in this game, this happens all the time when multiple characters are together. The writing is top-notch.
Not only the detail in writing, but also the detail in physical character interaction too. Ariana sitting on Tiny's lap at the gas station. MC sitting with Yoona when he noticed she was left out again, and then Yoona sit on MC at the gas station too. Brenda moving from the back to the middle of the bus. The pinching game with Victoria. All of these are small things but they helped set the scene so much.
Lastly, of course the girls are all very beautiful too! I am definitely looking forward to see how all the characters will develop from here onwards.

I just discovered this game. The writing in this game is absolute cinema. I love the interactivity/reactivity to our decisions and each other, the characters are dimensional and compelling, and the plot is right up my alley. And I didnt forget: the girls are fiiine. I can't wait for further updates!
Do you think you'll write a harem route that includes Lexa? She's obviously very possessive, but she's also a great candidate for a cuckquean because the other girls already defer to her. So, sure, Crowley might fuck around, but those girls know who the queen is.

I saw these screenshots below. Anyone knows how to get them? Seems like I never got to see any Murphy at the gas station other than in the toilet, and I don't think I've seen any big box involved at all.

Totally agree with the first part, Skylaroo in a post above you explain it perfectly aswell. I really loved the vibes surrounding the bus trip, took me back to when I was a kid and had all those sweets and chips filled bus trips with my classmates. All the back and forths between all the characters, it's something we actually see very little in avn's for some reason.

When in the store, agree to work for the box of muffins. This box you see has all the muffins. If you choose 'negiotiate' or want cash, you won't get the box and thus won't get these scenes. It actually took me a while to figure out lol
More clarification: the pretty shop clerk asks you to fix the airconditioning. Accept the job
Edit: Also be sure to check out all the options when confronting Murphy. You don't want to miss a certain scene.

I do wonder how all these little branches would matter in the end. Like for example, choosing the muffin cake option gave a chance for us to see Allison, Kimberly, Claire, Kelly and Yoona which otherwise we wouldn't have. I am a little worried all those small interactions would give stat points and the only way to get into specific girl is to really follow their path. I hope not.
The blackmailing scene in the start of the game had me RIGID. As did the MMF scene with the donuts. Hope there's more of it coming. Need more dirt-bag paths in these games.

I saw this screenshot of previews from the dev of the next version and what caught my attention because this is the housekeeper lady from the beginning and seeing its around night time it makes me guess that the dev must be planning some sort of alternative route where MC might miss the bus or something because this lady is back in Meteor Valley unless she has some sort of teleportation power that we are not aware of lol anyways very interesting stuff coming in the future.

It is confirmed that the next update is the alternate path if MC missed the bus involving Samantha or Rosaline.
