Old saves from 2.0 or earlier will apparently crash the game. Also, there's a new alternate start to the game that you need to restart to see anyway (that's basically the entire update, the old story doesn't continue). You have to miss the bus to see it, though.

We are never getting back to that part IMO. This project was always too ambitious for it's own good and these other branching paths are only making matters worse.
yeah, what a waste. character writing was good but im not going to get hooked knowing this game is likely not going to move much

I haven't played this since i thought the demo...but it still ends in the exact same place? maybe it was last update that i played and don't remember??? or has the story actually not progressed at all?
Edit: HOLY SHIT, the game takes an entirely different path if you fuck Samantha...long and hard....damn that's different. But basically having to tell two different stories is gonna make dev time SUPER long, although i'm sure we'll meet up with the rest of them again soon, no way dev is leaving all those girls/friends out of the game....god damn though....so many beautiful sex scenes at the gas station are no longer going to be part of my progression....althoguh i guess only one of them actually counted. I am upset that i had to fuck that bitch to get here though. The convo with Lexa now hasn't happened...although to be fair i haven't even read anything yet past the bus station when all the new people showed up so maybe it's still there in another form...still had to fuck that cunt though. I'd rather be with literally ANYONE than her.
Edit: also curious if harem is ever going to be an option...or at least a path where you don't crush anyone soul if you fuck a lot of girls.

I had the thread watched since some time ago but never played the game until now. This is pretty good but doesn't have as many subscribers as it should. Dev should step up his marketing skills because it can do better.

The normal path is good (which ends at the ruined city) but this latest update alternate path isn't anywhere near as good IMO.
Yeah, this felt short until I read the focus of the update. I became invested in one branch of the story with the friends, but now it looks like development will focus on the other branch (military). A little disappointing...

I don't understand why the dev choose to create a completely different branch of the game, if you go to toilet with samantha. I mean, the game is already one of the complex vn's out here. But i liked it anyway in its first version.
Because even it has too many LI's and their own unique characters... it was made perfectly, so we said, ok we can play a few more replays to see all content. it was built very good. I dont care if these two scenarios will come together at some point. because the first one didnt need that. It was already a full story for me.
But this last update? pfff. what waste of good talent. It was like making GTA and witcher in the same game. haha. why would anyone do that? If you really want to give that other scenario a chance, make it in your another game dude. Why add it in this one, even this one has already tons of characters. as i said, waste of talent.
of course, im not putting this game in my ignore list yet, I will still follow what comes next. but I wouldn't think of subbing it after that update. i have less hopes for its future.
