bro, the situation is as follows: players really liked the initial variation of the game (the story with the main *college cast/bus plot, if you want). and they insanely liked the branching in the MAIN story, which affects within itself to itself. but here is a completely different story, with other characters, no new scenes, etc. has the exact opposite effect - we have no emotions. We have not yet been imbued with all the characters from the basic root, and here are added new ones with a different plot. this root will be interesting to well 15% of players at most, the rest are waiting for the basics. this we do not even take into account that the "main challenge" has not even started, we have not met the family.
Further: the game has this "college adventure" style at the beginning, and we're tuned in to that. and you've done an excellent job of conveying that "party" vibe. but then post-apocalypse? debatable, very debatable. it can have a completely different effect and reaction to the game than at the beginning. only if you're really sure that you've fucking written it all out (I want to believe that) and will pull it off.
But I, as I think and most players expected that we will arrive with the main characters in our city and will perform the "last challenge", in parallel developing other branches with the main characters.
and now apocalypse, military, secrets and intelligence.
I'm not sure that many people will like it, after all, at the heart of it is a kind of "porno-college story *. But you write well, you have talent.
As for me, it's better to concentrate on one plot/story now - the central one. Maximum two, and even then, not even with the military, but with that cleaning lady, because there was already an emotional connection with her and a vulgar scene. But of course, it's up to you to decide. You have an excellent game, but with great risks of expectations. I just summarized the opinion of most pla
yers.
