Will there be any incest involving the mc, or is it some other character in the background?

Thank you!! In response to your question on this thread: Wondering why ya didn't do the CGs in HS like the animations?

It's a good question, and something I considered for a while. In general, I want to get away from AI assets, so I'm currently looking for artists/animators to partner with on the project that will give the art more consistency!

I'm not super confident in my ability to utilize HS2, so I thought I could give a better look and feel of the characters with AI in the demo. Once I find an artist to partner with, the current scenes and CGs will be updated! Or if I'm unable to find a partner, I'll start transitioning to utilizing exclusively HS2.

This is going to need some serious balancing and tuning. The spawn rate in the second mission is overtuned. Olivia has 28hp, she usually gets hit every single fight, so you have somewhere between 14-28 rounds to finish the stage, that isn't a lot. Meanwhile, you control team baby that is weak af and can't take more than 3 hits without dying, aside from Beatrix, but she gets wrecked by magic. It's not looking good, when every single enemy takes 2 rounds on average to kill and there are 14 of them, with reinforcements from the throne room.

Next the weapons degrade per hit. There are also weapon abilities that take 3-5 durability per use and there is no way to repair that I've seen so far. I haven't seen past the second mission, so I have no clue if a store even exists to buy better gear, or repair. Also, random stat gains when you level can really screw you over. At the very least some stats should be guaranteed for each character based on their class/role, so you don't get screwed by bad rng. Like the priestess should get magic every level up so her heals get better and the prince should get strength, or hp on level up and then give them a chance to get other stats.

Another thing I noticed is do weapon types mean anything? Is it like fire emblem, where certain weapon types are supposed to go against others, or if you use the wrong type it will put you at a disadvantage? If yes, it should be in some sort of tutorial. I like the ideas and it seems pretty interesting, just needs some adjustments so people don't get their shit kicked in on the first stage after the prologue.

SRPG = YESSSS, WE ARE SO BACK
Looks at the "art"...
If it's the AI art, I totally understand! I'm currently looking for an artist to collaborate with to update the art. In the meantime, I might post an updated demo with HS models.

Awesome, thank you so much for trying it out, and I really appreciate the feedback!! I'm glad you find the idea interesting!

Yeah, that's fair! I think currently it leans more towards a maddening level of difficulty. I'll scale back the difficulty for the demo and normal versions of the game, and post an update.

Some Spoilers here: I will keep the random stat gains, but I'll increase Priestess class Mag growths a bit. That being said, you will get some more Mag focused mages in later chapters. Gabriella leans more towards Res growths.
Regarding store, you'll get access to that after Chapter 4. However, you will get an Iron Sword and Iron Lance at the end of the Chapter 2 cut scene. That being said, were you finding that you were running out of weapons?

Yes! If you enabled tutorials, it should provide some information on the weapon triangle during the first fight. I can add some more information to it if it's not enough.

It's super great finally getting some feedback, so thank you again for trying it out. I'll try to release an update sometime this week.

I will be cautiously optimistic. That summary alone screams 'Prince will find the princess (his sister? Instructions unclear) getting banged and he'll be forced to watch because she loves it.'

That, or someone saw that the prince and princess were too close, so arranged for her to be married off quietly so the two wouldn't cross the line and 'ruin' her worth.

I'm glad to hear it!!!

Relationships can be set at the beginning ;)

There's no NTR planned for this game, so don't worry! And I don't want to spoil the game, but that's not the case!
