It's going to be almost 1 year and developer still didn't fixed the Wednesday jenna Ortega scene that we stuck in bathroom, isn't he?
Unfortunately, the game does not go beyond the start screen. The cross at the top of the screen does not work. Can you tell me what to do to make the game work?

me too, cant click the 'close' button. so i skipped the 'screen pleasewishlist'.
put script.rpy in game folder(only v1.86).
Bypassing the wishlist screen on startup can be done by creating a quick save (F5), then quick load (F9) and choosing "No" on the popup. You will get a Renpy error, but clicking "Ignore" will get you to the start menu.

Also, in a previous comment, a given solution was to delete the "wishlists.rpyc" in "TheLastOasisBeforeChastity-1.86-pc\game\scripts", but that doesn't work anymore because the game will re-create the file on startup.

Man hasn't been an update since December of last year. I hope the Dev isn't abandoning this on I was enjoying it.

Man, I want to play through this, but the shoddy responses, locking better camera angles behind a "VIP" paywall, and the lack of updates not only for the game, but from the dev, have leaned me towards deleting what looks to be a well made game.
Don't get me wrong - I don't mind games with long updates. Hell, one of the best (if not THE best) Ren'Py games on the web, Eternus, has a 6-10 month update time per release. But the dev is super responsive, and the updates are INCREDIBLY worth the wait.
So yeah... Gonna delete this one until something convinces me otherwise.

The dev made a post on SS a like a week ago. Here is what it says:
Hey everyone.
So, first of all, sorry for the silence, it's not because I stopped working on the game. Quite the opposite, actually. I’ve been so deep into it that I forgot everything else.
Back in May, the new generation of graphics cards came out: the RTX 6000 Pro Blackwell, with a whopping 96GB of VRAM, compared to the 24GB I had before. That completely changed the game for me. I’ve done more renders over the past two months than I did from January to May 2025, because back then, I was basically rendering black images and constantly fighting to optimize.
For example, when I had a scene with several characters, I had to render it multiple times: first with only one character fully textured, the other two appearing completely white, without hair or details, just to save on resources. Then I’d redo the render with textures on the second character, and again for the third. I’d finally stack the three renders to get one proper image. It was a nightmare, some images took over 6 hours each, so doing them three times meant 18 hours per shot. Completely unsustainable.
As for the graphics card itself, yes, it's amazing (but useless for gaming lol). But there’s a huge downside. It cost around $9,000 after conversion. I didn’t have enough to cover it, especially after taxes hit, which is normal, but it hurt. I ended up taking out a $4,000 loan. And yeah, I’m scared. I’m not making much right now. I’m still ending each month around $700 in the red. Luckily, I have a few months before I need to start paying back the loan. It was a gamble, and I took it. I don’t regret it, it opened doors I never had access to before, and the workflow boost is insane. But I’m nervous. Honestly, if you weren’t still here supporting me, I’d be in serious trouble. So thank you, truly.
Anyway, the demo is almost done. I’ll need to redo a lot of the images, but I’ll tackle that later. So when you play it, keep in mind that many visuals will be improved in the final version, better expressions, better poses. Nothing too bad, but the overall experience will definitely benefit from the updates. Still, for now, it’ll do.
The demo should be out around October on Steam. But if you’re supporting me on Subscribestar, just send me a DM and I’ll gladly send you the demo directly. I’m not putting it up for open download, but I’ll try to pin this post so anyone who wants to test it can reach out.
I’d love to hear your feedback, just remember, this is story content only. No adult scenes yet. I’m working on them, and they’ll be tied to the desert setting I’ve mentioned before. As planned, there will be a scene inside an alien spaceship and another one with a mermaid. We voted on that, and technically the aliens won... but I wanted to do both, so you’ll get both. These will be coming in the next few weeks.
As for the alien spaceship scene, honestly, I’ve been stuck on it for a while. It’s not something I personally wanted to include at first, but a few people specifically asked for certain things to be in it. And… well, let’s just say I’m not super comfortable with those requests. I’ve been going back and forth in my head, trying to find a way to make it work. I really want to do it right, or not at all.
So, in the next few days, I’ll post a poll and ask for your opinion. Because I’m genuinely blocked. I want to please the people who made the request, but at the same time, I need to feel good about what I’m putting in the game. I’ll explain everything in more detail soon, there’s no point getting into it right now, but yeah, just know that’s what’s holding things up for that part.
So yeah, the demo isn’t quite ready yet. I still need to add sound, a bit more writing, and some code. Nanar’s handling the coding part and he’s fast, so that won’t be a problem.
As soon as it’s finished, I’ll make another post (hopefully pinned) where you can DM me to get the build and share your thoughts.
Just one thing I ask from you, please don’t share it. If it leaks, it could completely ruin my Steam launch and hurt me badly. So I’m really counting on your discretion.
