I think I didn't make myself clear, so I'll put it bluntly: I hate depending on a guide while playing a game. It really kills all the fun and freshness, so that's why I'd like the quest log to be more detailed. It's not difficult to miss Altina.

And concerning the assault of Yhilin... "Death from the above"... well, I don't want to give any spoilers, so let's say that success depends on "trivial" choices done long ago, that no player can relation with, unless reading the guide beforehand.

When I mention an indicator/ pointer, I'm not implying something specific; it can be just a vague hint. The "consecuences" affects too much the aftermath and posterior gameplay.

It's just my opinion, a wish as much, not a demand.

while i do agree with you,i also think you don't have to rely on guide at all,no ? play the first playthrough purely base on your own choice and advance then see where it takes you . i mean,we don't necessarily had to have a perfect run as long as we could progress no ? then after you finish the last chapter,MAYBE you could go for another new game run with literal opposite choices you made in the first playthrough and seeing the different outcomes it made, thatss quite fun too no ?

It always amaze me the players that express opinions and/or wishes to the game developers in threads where the creator of the game is not involved. SL don't visit this forum, period. For her, this site doesn't exist. If you want your feedback to reach her ears, go the blog, go to the Steam community, go to the offcial forum threads that she visit (there are all listed in the wiki main page).

Regarding Altina, SL has stated in different places that she is considering her rescue to be mandatory. It would probably won't happen until version 1.0, though.

And concerning the assault of Yhilin... "Death from the above"... well, I don't want to give any spoilers, so let's say that success depends on "trivial" choices done long ago, that no player can relation with, unless reading the guide beforehand.

The "choices" are not trivial. For instance, it has been a recurring comment from many years now that it's unclear what investments should the player do. in late chapter 1/early chapter 2. If you have an expert in finances, follow her advice in such matters. Both the bank (again, if you have an specialist that improves the conditions of one investment, use her abilities) and the mine are slam-dunks from the start. If Simon says when you're leaving Ari-Yhilina that we should be efficient and not to lose time going back and forth, don't do it.

I'm sure that it's not going to change your mind, but I could attest that the feedback that she has received has changed the game in many ways, both big and small.

Glad you're enjoying the game.

Sadly, though, I gotta tell you that this game is inspired by old-school RPG. And the whole fun of old-school RPG is depending on a guide while playing the game.

So please dont complain about it too much :) Kinda like you going to a sushi restaurant but saying you don't like raw fish.

Again, interesting and glad you like the game even if you're not a fan of the core system.

Great, now I'm not a fan of the core system just because I think two single aspects could be improved... is my English that terrible?

Nevermind, keep going.

Hello, can you recommend games where actions or inactions and general behavior influence the loyalty and choice of girls in principle, that is, with the tags of cheating netoras netorasa so that attention needs to be shown to the girls, otherwise it’s like going to a bar like a party and all that in general, what would all this be and what would be optional?
The only one I can think of is Fox Girls never play dirty by Avangarde.

Don't like creating a this type of message but it needs to be said before the staff gets here (you don't want them here, they are scary ^^)

Just ignore them, they spent 2 pages complaining about shit and if that happens again they will be reported for it (because it breaks rules and is a waste of everyone's time and makes the thread look like shit with walls of text that can be equated to dick measuring contests)

You can be a fan of a game but dislike some of its parts, its called "opinion" everyone has them and they can differ from others
(the game could use more in-depth/detailed quest log for newer players as not everyone grew up on 2000s or older games)

Спасибо, но я играла в нее как в тестовую игрушку, я шла до конца с котом и собрала его
Not to be that person but rule 5 exists, provide a translation or use English only (or go to a translation/different language thread. I do not know if they exist, I don't speak moon runes)

Rule book <---- link to rules and shit

Personally, hidden stats and mechanics never did anything for me. Realistically I only see 2 logical reasons for it:

1. "muh immersion" for the fabled blind player who enjoys playing 50+ hours long RPGmaker games and that both hates ever seeing "the actual numbers" and also won't get upset for all the bad results of getting tripped on any of the many invisible variables and their obscure causality.

2. An "elegant" concession to the challenge of creating a complex RPG game while also presenting all the necessary information in a cohesive way that doesn't overwhelm the player: "I won't even try to give you the necessary information lol. Have fun reading the wiki once someone makes that".

For the first, I really don't think it is a real thing. I don't think that type of player exists, or at least they aren't the audience that reliably consumes this genre of videogames. From what I see, usually all the invisible variables do is get the average blind player confused by the time shit hits the fan, they then get in touch with the game's online community, get upset once they find out they sunk hours into a playthrough that never had any chance, then they either quit because they don't want to deal with that or begrudgingly restart the game with a guide in hand.

For the second, while I was a bit sardonic about it, I do kind of respect it. A dev working pretty much solo can't tackle all the big challenges of game design, but that should never be the reason to stop them from trying to make the type of game they want to make, so you make concessions where you need to make them. But concessions shouldn't be lauded as "intended" design choices or any kind of artistic statement, imo. The game needing to have a community-made guide to be "wholly completable" is not a credit to the dev.

I won't dismiss the idea that maybe there are some people that enjoy looking up information on guides as part of the experience of playing an RPG, partially as a nostalgia thing, but I can't understand how looking things up on external sources would be preferable over being able to find the necessary information within the game itself.

Lastly, I would argue there could be another less savory explanation. The complexity and obscurity of the variables at play in TLS basically forces a considerable amount of replaying the game, which is a way (even if one borne from frustration) of maintaining player engagement during the long patreon-style development of the game. In a sense, the choice of making the game invite failure upon a new player in ways they cannot overcome without community resources, it might make the "final product" less appealing to some people, but it generally does a better job of being a "patreon-game" product.

i would understand hidden variables if these was short multi path game with replayability in mind but its almost opposite of that. mostly linear gigantic game with mostly zero meaningful choices. i think my enjoyment of game would be much better if i knew most hidden variables.
one possible way of doing that would be way that noblesse oblige does it and while it may break immersion a little it makes any gameplay and management much more enjoyable.

Version 0.73.4

Download*:
Mirror*:
RTP:

Changelog:

TLS 0.73.4 [3/12/24]
- Following Megail's quest, investigate near Iris to create a new potential piece of equipment.
- Investing in the Erosian smith now grants access to new equipment (at the Erosian temple), a new investment (at Fuck Palace), and new orc equipment (during Balia's quest).
- Five new pieces of unique equipment related to the above.
- Yet more bugfixing and polishing.

TLS 0.73.2 [3/8/24]
- Balance tweaks to Vhala's quest, including two extra points.
- The base portrait system now includes transformed Robin, both of Sabitha's forms, and mourning Zelica.
- Hopefully final keyboard/controller scripts from Rachnera.
- Additional bugfixing and polishing.

TLS 0.73.1 [3/1/24]
- Additional conversations have been added to Vhala's quest.
- Vhala's quest now grants additional influence for saves with lower ProN returns, as a mercy mechanic.
- Vhala's quest now grants more RP and other variables.
- Balia's quest now causes the training orcs in the base to upgrade, with four new training fights.
- Solely in the Divergent Church scenario, Bertricia has a Shining Sword to give the player.
- Solely in the New Religion scenario, Yelarel will give a Shining Sword during Sarai's quest.
- Upgraded keyboard/controller scripts thanks to Rachnera. The intro text and text describing key presses have been changed to account for this.
- Updated Elleani/Yarra scene thanks to Annikath.
- Additional bugfixing and polishing.

TLS 0.73.0 [2/23/24]
- Vhala has a "harem" quest, starting in the base hallway after the Incubus War.
- Stineford has been entirely overhauled! This is one of the biggest visual updates I've done to the game and I'm just crossing my fingers that I didn't screw something up during the upgrade.
- If Sarai was sexually restricted in your game, you can now get her to join the harem via her personal quest (if you already finished it, there's an alternate event in her tower). This is functionally the same, but involves some new conversations and dialogue variants.
- Nalili's quest now grants an additional reward, which can be found in her room even if you've already completed the quest. This is necessary for...
- A short quest that will grant a final battle item, if you've gathered all four major ingredients.
- Fuani now appears in the Renthnor Wilds guild, offering tips about all incomplete harem quests.
- Yarra's upgraded sex room now has two alternate configurations, for those who complained about the original tiles.
- Additional details around the base dependent on country scores, now covering Darghelon, Gheldaron, Zirantia, Erosia, and Rodak.
- Depending on the Entity Cohesion variable, you can see a scene resting under the tree at the Nostalgic Home.
- The final Shining Sword bonus is now available. I intend to add one more in the last optional dungeon for flex, however.
- During the Orilise segment of the elven forests sequence, the timer running out should now cause game over. This needs more testing.
- Did you know that the majority of cases refer to "Miners' Junction" but in 29 locations I accidentally wrote "Miner's Junction"? Well, not anymore!
- Bug where you could see Wendis transformed early fixed.
- Thanks to Rachnera, TLS has advanced keyboard remapping options in the System menu.
- There are now control tutorials when starting a new game.
- What may be the final investments of the game, pending any final balance tweaks.
- The placeholder in the teleportation room has finally been replaced with Riala, who will check preparedness and lead to the final battle (next time).
- One new sex scene.
- New illustrated scenes: Elleani Relief, Megail x Iris Anal, Janine Wedding Night
- Assorted bugfixing and polishing.

bad news :(, my cheap $5 USB gamepad isn't working on version 0.73.4 (Steam), meanwhile it works perfectly on the Story Mode 0.64.3 version.

will probably download 0.72.2 separately and use that version instead, where the pad also worked...

That may be due to sierra getting a script from someone (their name is in patchnotes i think) where they added more configuration to the game (so you can rebind stuff and actually walk with wsad) Or it could just be a "you problem" (cant help here as idk jack shit about console related tech)

Both Rachnera and SL will be interested on this, I think. You should report about it in instead of here, though.
