They are accusing you of complaining without proof. Since it's a very subjective issue, I assume they want you to mention specific moments in the latter half of the game that you disliked.

But I don't know what their point is, since they can't argue against an opinion. Maybe they just want more elaborate posts before they can feel like an opinion is valid?
the concept of "it's my opinion, you cannot say anything about" irritate me a lot.
an opinion, just for be an opinion isn't warrant any respect. there are a lot of bad, stupid and wrong opinions out there.
once someone substantiate their opinion enough to survive a superficial scrutiny one can start talk about it.
because "what can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence"

Is anyone else disapointed that we didn't get a lamia to join the harem, or is it just me? In my opinion, I feel that they didn't get enough love in this game. I mean there were only two sex scenes with them, and with all the work that goes into getting them equal rights with other succubi you would think at least one would join the harem. On a side note, I don't think this game is technically finished. On the main story side of things, yes the game is complete. However, there are some unfinished sex scenes still in the game (not to mention the possible artwork for said sex scenes).

budget constrain. the dev repetetly said to have wanted add a lamia in the harem but when the game started the budget was literally zero, and when the project make enough money for a commission of that level the story was advanced to a point to make it very, very difficult to have added a lamia charater.

Hey so I'm in the Split the Party part of Chapter 2 and I've hit a bit of a snag.

I've been following this walkthrough more or less to the letter...

And i just started the Megail Route but for some freaking reason

Exit the building. Enter the Yhilin Bank in the northeast corner. Interact with the closest teller. He should say "Profits are higher than expected due to Yhilin's unusually good economic conditions

I'm in the Ari-Yhilina Bank and the guy didn't give me 10k ProN, I just got 5k and its... It's bothering me.

I'm short 5k! (My total is 165k)

I've shared my last three save files if anyone can tell what i did wrong... Maybe someone can tell me how to fix it or even better share a save file with the correct steps since i really dont wanna backtrack if i can help it...

I have a question about the start of Chapter 2 (I'm in Chapter 4 already, so it's pure interest).

It's stated that you are only allowed to interact once with the cave (1000Sx, Fight or nothing).
So there is some sort of "XX Days Passed" system in play, and you shouldn't waste time.
Well, since the game is so cryptic, I interacted with the cave for basically a year to pass.

What would have been different if you didn't take too long?
I know there is one sub-mission in a quest that you always fail... I think something like "Don't attract too much attention" or so, but you always get caught in the end.

So, what do these days do/change?

The only changes are to two variables, according to the calculator: Social and Economy, so the faster you do this section, the more points you get on those. Why, exactly? Beats me, I have no idea. I've gave a thought once that maybe it's because the group shows high competence by doing everything they planned without taking too long.

You also get 1 point in religion by doing this section as fast as possible.

Yeah, it seems kinda random.
Maybe you get this 1 Religion point because people think you are a god, after showing that much speed.

hey y'all, so I've been making my way through this game using a walkthrough that ultimately serves to hold your hand to the extent of giving me an "on-rails" experience. If I were to just switch to the less prescriptive general walkthrough on the wiki (and maybe also consult the "secrets" page from time to time), is there any chance I'll end up in a place some fifty hours later that'll leave me highly frustrated (i.e. blocked content, "emotional damage", unbeatable stages/enemies)? And if such were a distinct possibility, would y'all suggest I just take such hardships on the chin for impact purposes? Thankee.

you yhilin score is to low, where exact you miss them it's very unclear.
grim had set up a database of save game in the checkpoint of his playthrough

the save 015 is at the end of aka route and at the start of megail one.

hidden stats, they are crucial to pass check in the whole game [expecially the second half] and every point count. expecially if you want the best result in most game events.

for the enemies fight if you are through and kill all enemies you can it's not a problem. there can be some blocked content, but it's only for a very bad save, depending the exact meaning of "emotional damage" it's a very concrete possibility.
if you aren't against a replay i usually suggest a blind run followed by a full optimized one, it's make you appreciate the range of outcome the game proived. if you don't want replay such a long game a middle ground can be to play blind until find some section going very bad, in this case you can pick an optimized save from grim playthourgh to start the nearest checkpoint with a very strong save and keep playing blind.

So can tell you have not followed exactly because you get 5K if Yhillin score is 5 or below and and 10K if 6 which is shy we do Aka route first like the bottom 3 are Aka Route things

to go into details of what you missed one of these or to be more exact one of the non strikethrough lines if following Grim guide
  • +1 for investing in Yhilin Bank by the start of chapter 2.
  • +2 for investing in Bridge Repair by the start of chapter 2.
  • +2 for investing in Mine Processing by the start of chapter 2.
  • +1 for investing in Anti-corruption campaign.
  • +1 for investing in Yhilini Public Works by the start of chapter 2.
  • +1 for copying Andrew (the scum Jade clerk).
  • +1 for copying the Kingsman clerk.
  • +1 for returning between 3 and 6 mine papers on Aka's route.

I would say depends there is a small amount of content for optimised saves but most content can be done with any save, like was tested with a min level party in mind aka skipping all optional(optional in the sense of not needed to progress ) fights, as for emotional damage honestly that can happen even in optimised saves depending how you define it

I haven't beaten the game yet, but yes, dependend on your choices, it's possible to miss out on quests, locations and skills.
The emotional damage is always there, sometimes more, sometimes less.
It's war, and how much damage happens depends on your choices, so be prepared for it.

Is the game unbeatable if too many bad things happen?
No, I've talked with Sierra about this, and she is confident that you won't play yourself into a wall.

I highly recommend playing without a guide.
Even the more drastic consequences can be highly impactful for YOUR playthrough.
Is it optimal?
No.
But it's the story you create out of the game.

To elaborate on the spoiler, since I think this still is a super cool moment, even if it has consequences:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

And the game is till perfectly playable.
Yes, you will miss out on stuff, but at the end, it's your story and these moments are a part of it.

EDIT: It'S highly unlikely to have overall great outcomes in your first playthrough anyway.
If you have the time and love the game that much, it's time for another playthrough, with your knowledge and ways to make less bad decisions.
It's always wise to listen to what party members have to say.
If they think that something is a bad idea, it propably is.
If they say something like: "The bad thing is, we didn't do much about the infrastructure.", for your next playthrough, take care of the infrastructure.

Most things seem like flavortext, but they reflect your choices either in recommendations or the outcome of choices.

I appreciate the thorough response, thankee. I'm much inclined to just continue blind, though raw-dogging such an epic narrative has me a bit nervous lol. I sincerely hope that I won't be lead down into dire narrative straits because of what 25 hours prior had seemed to be an utterly arbitrary choice lol. It's largely the investment system that made me follow a guide cuz it kinda feels like playing the lottery on the first playthrough lol.

Hey, I'm in the same boat and I complain in my playthrough all the time that many things seem to be pure guesswork.
But in terms of gamedesign, it's deliberate guesswork.

But again, very often, the party has something to say.
For example, especially valuable investments get recommended by Megail.
Later on, people you invest in outright state if you get money out of it or not.
So you have to balance out if you wanna make money first, or invest in something that helps in certain story moments.

And still, you won't run into a wall... just go with your gutfeeling.
It might sound stupid, but you aren't really meant to get and see everything in your first playthrough.
I often compare it with a 'SaGa' game, in which there are so many quests you simply can't do if you won't follow a guide, which is fine, since these games are simply designed around the fact that you can't/won't do everything.

Going through a part with many failed key elements is as much part of the story as going through the part while doing everything perfect before.
It's about choices and living with the choices you've made while moving on.

"I would have done this and that instead of what the walkthrough recommends."
So do that... go against the guide and see what happens.
I sometimes peek in the guide which recommends this and that research... but no, I don't care, since I wanna research something else before.
Does it hinder my playthrough?
Don't know, don't care, it's my playthrough and it goes on no matter what.

And as a last word when it comes to "things getting too dire and depressing"... it's still overall a wholsome game with a great cast.
No matter the crap that happens, you always have these supporting people around you, and they hold the game together.
And before I get more mushy, I should stop.

Started chapter 4 and got message about some cg not being completed yet. Anybody knows how many are missing and whether all are missing from certain point or just ''less relevant'' ones?

Just to double check, you can't change the name of the main character right?

I saw some older comments about that but as the descriptor of the comments says 'old' I thought I'd check that an update hadn't happen to change that.

I've already deleted the game but I'll get it again and probably chip some money to the developer if there is a way to change the MC name. It's a deal breaker for me.

you can't change the name, you never be able to do that. the protagonist isn't a empty shell self insert charater.

where are RTP files located? While I have not played Last Sovereign, I have played rpg maker game before (not anytime recently). If RTP is required for those too, it would be unlikely for me to not have it.
