Do you have the new toy on your inventory? The vibrator.
Because right now that toy is bugged and you can't deliver it to Valerie to get money and remove it, so you are soft lock if you have it.
The dev knows about the bug and it's going to be fixed in the next update.

Hmmm, try this, create a new save and watch one scene that it's on the gallery on the new scene, then go to the save that has all the gallery unlocked and check if the scene that you watch it on the new save is available to watch in the full gallery save, if you can, try to watch all the other scenes and see if you can watch them.
If you can't,50% ish of the scenes are repeatables so if you watch them again you will be able to rewatch them on the gallery, if the scene are not repeatable normally they are from the main missions,side quests or not finished mechanics, you can speed run through the game on the new save to fix the save with the full gallery.

So, in the 2.1 version I'm having a few issues, possibly bugs. In base game there's one butterfly that just doesn't seem to be there (the Jessica for home invasion). Also in the Halloween event, I've completed up to where I need to go to the basement, but it looks like the arrow for it's location has vanished so I can't complete it.

Both of the butterflies for "Home invasion" memory spawn at night in the town.
And about the Halloween event you need to click/touch the stairs to proceed if you already removed the purple mist.

Pay attention to whatever happens during conversations Search around the areas of the game and interact with things that gets your attention,talk with NPCs of the game, you may find the next main missions, secondary mission and/or h events.

btw i really appreciate your help in this thread. I would be totally lost without it. as much as I like this game, it needs a better "tip" system

Thanks for the comment, about the "tip" system that you are talking about, right now the game is like "explore around to find out" there are like 30% to 40%of the content where you need to discover by interacting with interactables that doesn't have a mark of missions, or also NPCs with the same thing "without quest marks" or explore around the map with different outfits to see what you find, the in-game gallery helps with that, each outfit has its own section and each scenes of each area of the map, so for example, if you see in the gallery the virgin Destroyer sweater of Sapphire on the town that means that there is something with that outfit in that area.
