Is this actually a Side-scroller as it says in the tags? I couldn't tell from the previews

It's a side scroller in the sense of you move the character left and right in a 2.5D space to explore sometimes. It's not a platformer or a running/escape thing. Purely how you navigate half the world.

No continuation of that. If you are in the Tower it is still a dead end. All new content is in the free roam. Use this save to go backwards
