I love the whole scene leading up to this so much, it's a shame that it ends with all this messing around trying to squeeze past the guard.
Super annoying, not fun, not sure why the guard doesn't actually come into the room so you can actually understand what to do.

You need to be caught twice. For the third time, turn off the light and press the door, then go around the guard.
