Don't think they are fully implemented yet. They also show up early in the game before they are supposed to be active.

I picked the professor with the sex toy, hoping he will use the toy on Sluterella when she hits the horny stage. Alas, no dice. I hope they do implement this mechanic, so 100% horny doesn't lead to instant loss.

Thanks for all your comments. I tried playing it (after having played it before with barely any bugs) and immediately had problems with the language settings so I uninstalled it again. But yeah... This is (besides the grind and bugs) one of the best games out there. Outstanding visuals and cool story.

Turns out they are implemented. I picked the doctor, and he heals the protagonist in between battles. My health is always at max even after sustaining damage (past the armor value) during combat. I am not sure what the professor does, perhaps a passive damage boost.

Oh nice, is that only at the end after you escape from Ambal and get the apartment base?
I haven't seen anything with the random appearances early in the game.
