Same Issue with Rita.

They should know that a Male Protagonist Game with the MC going after his family members / forming a poly Relationship/ Harem type of Game isn't well liked when the MC hasn't the Girls for himself. The majority doesn't like it to share the Girls with other Dudes.

Its hard to address all of this without making spoilers.
I know that 'NOBODY' likes sharing/poly/swing/ntr/cheating etc, and neither want a character dead, because I think in the same way.
So I will explain everything again just in case, and feel free to refer this post to future people asking about this, in special when recently a lot of new people found out about this game recently:

- Rita: We already said that her content will be mostly optional, she won't even have her own chapter or love points. This means, she will never be Lincoln's girlfriend/wife, or be part of the harem (A.K.A: sisters knowing about what's going on with Rita, or Rita knowing what's going on with the sisters).
Same for her husband, Lynn Sr. won't divorce her, or die, or share her with Lincoln or anything.
It will (again, optional) be a mother-son relationship with extra steps, that's all.

- Lori: This third chapter is hers, and even when we don't want to make spoilers (in special when the story is a BIG important aspect of the game), we understand that people are STILL worried about Bobby. So to avoid direct spoilers, I will just say what its NOT going to happen in general: sharing / poly / trio / cheating / involving Bobby.
And no, I will not draw Bobby's banging Lori for the game neither.
Bobby is not going to die.

- Luna: Luna is special because she's bi, and canonically, she has a girlfriend, Sam. She's already in the game in a couple of optional dialogs. The most important thing about Sam regarding this game is that she is, in fact, a girl, and everyone here likes girls. (so far)
She will be an important aspect of Luna's chapter. Her chapter will not be the 4th, and probably, neither the 5th. So we are not going to make spoilers, in special because her story isn't that detailed yet, and we only have some concept ideas.
But we confirm that she will be a "Side Honey" (already confirmed in the in-game character codex.)

And some thoughts about becoming a sellout, paywalling stuff, etc. and my experience making this game.
For anyone who cares:

Even when this is my first videogame, and even when it got way more successful than I expected when I started, I won't sellout.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE MONEY, its useful to pay bills, taxes, and stuff and that's great; but I like making videogames more. That's why the game is FREE and there is no paywall content besides a 30-day wait.

Now, making a game for free, and making a living out of it without paywalling stuff or sellout to 'whales' is not easy, but neither impossible.
I won't lie, it's kind of an utopic/platonic thing to imagine and perform. And so far, it seems that making constant updates without long waits, and giving what is promised instead of going off the trails are the key (and making an actual good game too, I guess).
I'm not the best artist, I'm not the best programmer, and I'm not the best developer to begin with, but I will continue trying to do my best.

MORE than 1 person will love it, I'm sure about that.
Still, it's nothing confirmed, It could be a simple thing like a genderswap version of the gallery, or a short side story, etc. No idea, but it's a common topic.

Same here, and I would love to do something like that for April fools too, but the truth is, I got a lot of messages/comments of people who thought that they reached some kind of bad ending during Lucy's scenes near the end of Chapter 2, so they backtracked/loaded saves a couple of times, and some even restarted the chapter to avoid that "bad ending" lol.
I'm GLAD that it got such a big impact, and I'm very happy with Catspeaker 81's writing, I remember telling him to rewrite some parts to make her suffer even MORE trough those scenes.
I know that people now will get used to how we manage the story in the game, let's say, Luan's chapter has a very sad and soul crushing scene... they will know that it's how the story is planned.
But I don't want to go too hard on bad/joke endings to be honest.

I remember a very specific comment on itchio saying that there was a bug when choosing to NOT spy on Lynn while she's taking a shower, and made the game loop. LMFAO

You might have been right if you were a random dude in a random world. But you're playing an established member of a family, a child in a family with healthy parents. Not wanting to be a homewrecker is like bare minimum here dude.

1 dude can prego 10 girls
1 girl can only get prego by 1 dude, the other 9 are unnecessary

This also locks in female characters to choose 1 seed donor over the others which isnt an issue with male protagonists.

F95 malware has nothing to do with game developers, malicious people leak patreon updates and put malware in them.

And Bobby is not going to die either, so yeah, a break-up is the only outcome I can also think of. It's a bit sad but also funny that the dev has to spoil such a big part of the story to calm down players who scream at the slight chance of ntr/cheating/sharing happening.

I have nothing against NTR lovers, but I have yet to see a harem-type game with optional NTR that actually made it work well. The ones I've played pissed off both NTR haters for including it and NTR lovers because it felt forced, lackluster or superficial. The way I see it, harem and NTR should be mutually exclusive. No one should play a harem game expecting NTR to happen to MC and no one should play a NTR game expecting MC to get a harem.

I have nothing against NTR lovers, but I have yet to see a harem-type game with optional NTR that actually made it work well. Problem is...
Many people want to make a living out of making a porn videogame and that's all, that's the whole plan.
No vision, no planning, no target audience, no long term ideas...
So they make a porn game to a lot of different audiences until they find their niche and finally works.
But by that moment, the game is already a couple of years old, and left thousands of players disappointed.

This is the primary reason to porn games getting canceled/abandoned so early.
Imagine going to the kitchen and starting cooking... something, nothing specific, just a bunch of ingredients mashed together and boiled or friend... at the end you get a mess that nobody wants to eat, but some will feel bad because they really were expecting something cool and saw some potential during the first 5 minutes.

I'm a supporter on the 2.11 version, but figured I'd post here due to more activity. This game has basically unplayable levels of lag. Clicking around on the menu or getting into the game takes about 10 seconds after any click to do anything. Never seen any other RenPy game do this, this is the only one. Sometimes it'll go away for a few screens and then start back up. On win 10. I'll I've done is download from the supporter site, unzip, and start it, and it was like this right from the start.

I saw on the "news" section it says if there's lag on PC to start up holding shift or press shift+g, and that takes me to an option screen, but trying various settings there like the different renderers, disabling/enabling controller, framerate etc, hasn't fixed anything.

Bummer as it's some of the best art I've seen, and I'll probably stay a supporter regardless, but, not really able to play it right now unfortunately. I expect it's something on my PC but since other RenPy games don't do this it's hard to say what it is.

EDIT: Sorry, I posted this before I saw the FAQ, but tried everything there and it's still laggy. Even the pop-up "are you an adult" when the game starts lags. Weirdly, the only time it runs completely smooth is on the screen before it does the "character card" rollout and while on that card, like with the first girl and the guy after that where it kinda expands and gives some facts about the character. The dialogue sentence before that screen and on that screen are fine and all menus are fine. Any other time including start-up and title screens and shift+g option and menus and everything has major lag. Super weird, but hopefully that info about those screens is maybe somewhat helpful since you aren't able to replicate.

Also odd, hopefully some more usable info, if I let the game sit for a good 20-30 seconds, my next click will always move to the next screen instantly, so it's like there's always a time limit before you can go to the next dialogue, whether you click instantly or wait to click.
