I may not have the full picture because I don't follow this project on all planforms except this one, but at least here I don't see any real "division" or "fight" in the context of Ronnie Ann's.

Sure, there are people who comment that they like this moment of the story, there are those who comment that they don't like it, there are those in between. But this is a rather normal human reaction to interacting with art, right?

There is no big or successful work or universe that suits everyone 100%. As long as we fans don't call each other names, or the author(s), I would say there is no particular problem.

The only thing I didn't like about this chapter is not the content, but rather how divisive it's been. The community has been very, very divisive over it to an almost ridiculous degree in my opinion. I know everyone has their preferences and such, but it just seems silly to fight over it. Chapter 3 is going to be a major turning point in the story of course, but there are no right or wrong paths here. Just play the game as you please. As they say, you do you.
A interesting way to look at this imo is seeing it as a microcosm of the two main stances in the fandom. Both with different opinions on the current state of the Loud House.

TL: DR: The first crowd is the folks who love what TLH used to be and 'don't care for anything else'. The other likes seeing other characters aside from the Louds. Differences in opinion ensues.

The first are the 'Old Guard'. They're the ones who love the show when it sticks to its premise. The first few seasons stuck to this before deviating (the writers getting into and still ongoing experimentation phase). The Old Guard really dislike this. Especially when more and more characters are introduced. Giving less and less screen time to pass around. We're at a point now where we're getting episodes like this.

Upcoming Season 9 Episode: Hamalot
"After struggling to relate to Shelby's interests, Lance tries to bond with her at a live-action role-play event"

The second stance came about out of that deviation. The crowd who doesn't mind seeing other characters beyond the Loud Family. And were no doubt the main bulk who went to check out the Casagrandes when it aired.

When you have such opposing standpoints. It makes some sense for their to be tension when this game bring them into the same room together. Take Sid Change for example. The second crowd, having watched Casagrandes, know who Sid Change is. But to the first crowd who never watched it because they want the Louds, that's what they came here for, Sid is a literal nobody and I don't mean that in a harsh way. As of 2025, Sid hasn't appeared in any episodes of The Loud House outside of the "...with the Casagrandes" story arc. Over six years ago. (She didn't even show up in 'Great Lakes Freakout!' which was a surprise since that could have been an easy cameo). Making her a bit of a hard sell to the other crowd.

Ronnie managed to remain baked in the cultural zeitgeist of the fandom because she appeared early enough for the first crowd to accept her. In contrast to the disinterest to modern character introductions like Kara and Lance's family.

I'm fairly certain if the show writers had limit themselves and focus on what characters they have. (Keep the Casagrandes around). Rather than throwing things at the wall to see what sticks. The first crowd would like the Casagrandes more.

I will make a prediction for fun

At the end of the chapter there will be a split choice

1.Convince Lori to stay with Bobby and take Ronnie virginity by that taking Ronnie rute :

OR

2.Show Lori chow relationship with Bobby is hurting her/them , help them broke up , leave Ronnie (Breakup) , and Lori
impulsiveness will take over wanting both of you to fill good after double break up , and it will end with Lincoln fucking Lori

I think i saw the devs saying you will never be able to break up with Ronnie at least until the end.

I doubt there will be such a stark choice. I believe that you will inevitably sleep with Lori and not end up with Ronnie Annie. However, you will make small choices between the two that will accumulate points in the end if you will stay with the sisters or the Mexican. I also believe that there will be scenes that may be possible to miss depending on the choice.

I'm not a Ronnie fan but I still like her scenes, 'cause in my opinion the "my girl found a lesbian best friend and invites me to a threesome" idea is quite brilliant and very hot, regardless of how much I care for the characters.

That said, if I can give my two cents as an amateur writer... I personally got the feeling that the Ronnie and Sid storyline would've been liked by pretty much everyone if there wasn't juicy Lori hangin' in front of our collective noses, teasing us, daring us to fantasize about her and making the Ronnie flashbacks feel twice as long. It's just a matter of balance. That's why I'll judge this chapter when it's over, 'cause if the Lori goodness keeps coming, in the end playing the chapter from start to finish will be an entirely different experience.

Yeah, this has been quite a wild ride for us regarding this chapter, it actually took us by surprise, but at the end of the day... it's a porn game.
Yeah, it's a bit special both for us and for many of you, but it's the truth.

NUH UH.
THIS IS AN ABSULUTE MASTER PIECE.
To me this game is really up there with games like, Divimera and Ravager. Finding good visual novel porn games aint exactly easy some just fall flat on the believable story side and some just have very weak content or extremely bad art.
EX: Games where the mc gets girls bc he has a "magic dick" its always anoying or when the mc goes from not even knowing a girls name to than being soulmates made for eachother. I dont mind it i just want it to be not even realistic but semi-realistic.
P.S Loved how you implemented Sid bc it wasnt just "bam another to bang" you teased it before made a scenario for itand made it believable at least to me.
P.P.S huh can you pls tell me how much content was added i literally got addicted to this game and finish it in like 2 days and now there seems to be more content but how much more? can we bang Lori yet?

To be honest, I think people would be MORE upset if this wasn't the case. I can't fathom why people are getting upset by it.

This is certainly part of the problem, and I think the pace of the updates is exacerbating the issue. Ronnie Anne and her whole storyline are being written very well, but we are being drip-fed it month-to-month in a pretty unsatisfying way. If you've been following along with the updates, they each just kind of abruptly end after only about 20 minutes of gameplay, typically on pretty weak cliffhangers. I felt this a lot during the flashback segment; neither update had truly great scenes like the previous chapters, and it was a lot of set-up for a payoff we still haven't seen yet. For someone who doesn't like Lori, or Sid, or any of the Casagrandes, it makes the already long wait for Lori's content feel even longer... (Not me, I like the new family a lot

I don't fault the devs for this. It's just the nature of having a public dev cycle. I think most of us like the incremental public updates, with plenty of polish at each step, rather than waiting forever for the full release. But it's a lot like trying to read a shonen manga such as One Piece week-to-week or something. You are forced to experience the story in extremely short bursts that are gonna blue-ball you, and you can't fast forward through the parts you don't like. I am sure, 2 years down the line, a new player is gonna pick up the game, and think the completed Chapter 3 is a masterpiece. But for right now, it's agonizing

On a game where players have a sandbox (or a barebones linear story) where every characters is fuckable for the first time since the 1st or 2nd encounter, updates come with quick rewards for waiting for it.
The developer/s can simply think "Ok, nobody liked girl A, and everyone is thirsting for character B, D, and F, lets focus on them on the next update" And that's it.
That's not the case with us, this doesn't mean we don't listen to feedback, we do, it's just that we actually have plans for an entire game, and our ideas come months to years early, so we can't magically change the plot from one update to another.

The game starts (ch1) with Lincoln being in love with Ronnie, and it continues by Lori and Lincoln making a plan to visit them and try to convince her mother to move back, and then continues by Lynn saying she has no problem with him fucking her, and every day Lincoln talks with Ronnie on a videocall, and one day a girl named Sid appears with Ronnie, and both tell him THEY are waiting for him, and that they may be HAVING FUN in the meantime, and then chapter 3 has a cover art where both Ronnie, Sid, and Lori appear on it.
What are we supposed to do? Call ICE and get rid of Ronnie and her family? (lol)
It's not even foreshadowing, or doing a bait and switch.
CatSpeaker and me don't tell each other "Oh oh, it seems people don't like Ronnie, let's forget about her and bring Lynn and Lucy back by next update." NO! we say "Hmm, some people don't like or care about her, let's make sure the player knows her backstory, and let's make the Ronnie-Sid-Lincoln scenes as best as possible, so the choices in the future are harder to take and have more weight, even if it takes us a couple of updates."

Some prefer bigger updates separated by many months, other prefer smaller updates every 30 days.
Some prefer a linear story, other prefers a big and complex sandbox.
Some prefer a game 100% focused on the incest harem, others likes to see how Lincoln tries to maintain a "normal" life outside of it.
Some watched the show, other's didn't.
Some prefer the original style of the show, some hate it.
Everyone wants meaningful choices, but nobody likes to get locked out of content.
Et cetera, et cetera. The truth is, all of them are correct.
I mean it, it just makes sense, a perfect balance between everything that doesn't go to the extremes, while also keeping it a refreshing experience. It's literally a recipe for a masterpiece, but let's be honest, you can't cook a masterpiece by constantly changing plans depending on how pleased or angry people are. At some point, you (I mean, us, as developers) have to actually stick to a plan.

Anyways, this is a lot of text, and both a new public and private update are around the corner so I will leave a simple guide on how to COOK in the long term instead of ricocheting between updates.

For me it's a feeling of pity. As one of those who haven't watched Casa, it had felt rather unfortunate watching Ronnie trying to set the stage for the Casa Harem.

To attempt to paint a picture of the contrast between the Loud and Casa Harem to me. Let's say in a theoretical Adventure Time game where Finn has a choice between two Harems. On one side you got Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, Huntress Wizard, and Lady Rainicorn. On the other side you got Flame Princess (Like Ronnie she's still a popular character] but the rest of the line up is Bee Princess, Toast Princess, and Elbow Princess. There's nothing wrong with those characters. It's just a unfair match-up.

Which brings up another unfortunate thing on my mind is that at the end of the day, the Casa Harem is the 'best' it could be. There really isn't much other options even if Ronnie had wrangled someone from Royal Woods. Part of the reasons is touched on below. The majority of fan favorite non-Loudcharacters in Royal Woods are 99% fanon content. Even if it was somebody who shows up often like Stella. Stellla is such a nothing character that the show runners would rather invent a new girl for the friend group over doing anything with the character.

I don't fault the devs for this. It's just the nature of having a public dev cycle. An amusing thing is that a more fitting analogy would be The Loud House itself. One of it pitfalls is having way too many characters to divide screentime with. Leaving people more prone to annoyance when an episode comes along that they aren't there fore. Case in point the future 'Hamalot' episode. Some people didn't come to the Loud House because of this Lance character and his family. But more than that, they're annoyed at having an episode slot be wasted on them. Now they have to wait even longer for an episode that they like.
