The Lewd House: Helping Hand by AmazonessKing the inferior, barebones sandbox soundalike of this game that has way less content, doesn’t care about plot too much and sticks exactly to the show’s artstyle, mainly by copy-pasting a lot of assets
Fun fact: The subtitle “Helping Hand” was added later on specifically (likely by mutual agreement of the devs) because of this game to minimize confusion.

Even though I like Helping Hand, you're spot on about everything, although I don't think sticking exactly to the show's artstyle is a bad thing, but yeah, the asset copy-pasting really sticks out.

I didn’t mean to imply having a show accurate artstyle alone was bad, I was just listing it as another difference (having a less serious plot also isn’t automatically bad). Despite everything, I still get enjoyment out of Helping Hand, mainly from the few originally drawn lewd images. Some storyline/scene setups are still pretty hot, even if a little forced and ridiculous
It’s not a terrible distraction if anybody here is desperate during the waiting periods. AmazonessKing’s visual novels are still a guilty pleasure of mine, but there are unfortunately a lot of flaws you have to accept before you can start liking them.
On a game where players have a sandbox (or a barebones linear story) where every characters is fuckable for the first time since the 1st or 2nd encounter, updates come with quick rewards for waiting for it.
The developer/s can simply think "Ok, nobody liked girl A, and everyone is thirsting for character B, D, and F, lets focus on them on the next update" And that's it.
That's not the case with us, this doesn't mean we don't listen to feedback, we do, it's just that we actually have plans for an entire game, and our ideas come months to years early, so we can't magically change the plot from one update to another.
The game starts (ch1) with Lincoln being in love with Ronnie, and it continues by Lori and Lincoln making a plan to visit them and try to convince her mother to move back, and then continues by Lynn saying she has no problem with him fucking her, and every day Lincoln talks with Ronnie on a videocall, and one day a girl named Sid appears with Ronnie, and both tell him THEY are waiting for him, and that they may be HAVING FUN in the meantime, and then chapter 3 has a cover art where both Ronnie, Sid, and Lori appear on it.
What are we supposed to do? Call ICE and get rid of Ronnie and her family? (lol)
It's not even foreshadowing, or doing a bait and switch.
CatSpeaker and me don't tell each other "Oh oh, it seems people don't like Ronnie, let's forget about her and bring Lynn and Lucy back by next update." NO! we say "Hmm, some people don't like or care about her, let's make sure the player knows her backstory, and let's make the Ronnie-Sid-Lincoln scenes as best as possible, so the choices in the future are harder to take and have more weight, even if it takes us a couple of updates."
Some prefer bigger updates separated by many months, other prefer smaller updates every 30 days.
Some prefer a linear story, other prefers a big and complex sandbox.
Some prefer a game 100% focused on the incest harem, others likes to see how Lincoln tries to maintain a "normal" life outside of it.
Some watched the show, other's didn't.
Some prefer the original style of the show, some hate it.
Everyone wants meaningful choices, but nobody likes to get locked out of content.
Et cetera, et cetera. The truth is, all of them are correct.
I mean it, it just makes sense, a perfect balance between everything that doesn't go to the extremes, while also keeping it a refreshing experience. It's literally a recipe for a masterpiece, but let's be honest, you can't cook a masterpiece by constantly changing plans depending on how pleased or angry people are. At some point, you (I mean, us, as developers) have to actually stick to a plan.
Anyways, this is a lot of text, and both a new public and private update are around the corner so I will leave a simple guide on how to COOK in the long term instead of ricocheting between updates.
Dude I respect you and Catspeaker work a lot. Keep making banger as usual and people will come around for sure. Then again, you show me why I love the story you guys creating so far. Also, my honest reaction to the spoiler:
I'm sorry if I shouldn't say anything like this here but, my anxiety and depression were really bothering me this last week due to things I found online complaining about loudcest and fans of it. The usual crap calling it a toxic fandom for a children's show and we all deserve a special place in Hell. Sometimes it really wears down on me. I don't know why I like incest content so much but, it fills a loneliness I have. I just keep telling myself that it's fiction so there's no problem. Anyways, sorry for the downer.
I'm looking forward to playing the new update. Thanks again for this game. I like the idea of the plushies hidden in the game.
Anyways, there is the download link... you only care about that after all uh... that's what they always do. Everyone ask "When is next update" but never "How is new update?"

"0.2.30 will come after I finish drawing and coding the new stuff, which happens to be in a moment because I'm streaming on
You must be registered to see the links
RIGHT NOW while drawing some Carlota tits, Carlotta ass, and Carlota pussy. (and some leftover Lori stuff)"
So, expect 0.2.30 really soon tbh.
HA! you weren't expecting that, uh?

Also, I hope the uploader on this site didn't went to quick because I released 0.2.29b (notice the "b") just minutes after 0.2.29, fixing a VERY IMPORTANT BUG.
My condolences to anyone affected. Sorry.
Super quick TLDR stuff about this update:
- Its short
- It Lori-Focused
- Some scenes only trigger if you did some stuff previously (Like Ronnie's anal scene last night)
- To compensate, there is a new way to unlock scenes on the game!

Helping Hand is more show accurate in scenes where they can reuse show assets yes, but as soon as they get to showing flesh that stops flat, away goes the noodle limbs, box bodies and balloon heads and in comes the *BADONK*.
Lewdest house manages the most consistent style (of the two, Reality Psalm edges both out there but in turn falls flat due to feature bloat)
For those who want to know the locations of the 4 plushies in this update: Lincoln and Lynn plushies can be found early in chapter 1, Lucy plushie is found early in chapter 2, and the Lori plushie appears during her scene with Lincoln. (Also don't forget to claim the free coin)
Speaking as someone who has never seen Loud House and whose first exposure to it is -this game-, the character/harem debate in this thread has me very confused.

To be honest I too only learned about the show when I saw some random Loud House-related art in Rule34 and similar image-hosting sites and the first thing I thought TLH could have been a pornographic comic or at least adult-oriented cartoon series like The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, etc but I was pleasantly surprised to find out it actually a family-friendly cartoon made by Nickelodeon. By the way I also learned about its dark history involving its creator Chris Savino which I'm not going to elaborate further.
