Just FYI, I posted this on Patreon. Small delay, but Chapter 7 should be coming out this week!

Here is the post:
Eight days ago I posted that I thought it would be about a week until the release of Chapter 7. Clearly I missed that goal, but I am VERY close now. A few things happened to delay development:

• The final scene is much bigger than I had originally planned. There are actually 2 separate scenes based on player choice. I went a bit overboard...
• I wasn't happy with the overall flow of the chapter, so I moved around some scenes which then required some rewriting of dialogue, and other fixes.
• My real life work schedule has been ultra demanding. For example on Tuesday last week I arrived at work at 5am and didn't leave until 9pm. That doesn't leave any time to work on my visual novel.

But don't worry, I'm getting very close now. The final renders should finish overnight tonight, and most of the actual game code is finished. Testing should start tomorrow. I'm sure I will find a few things to fix or tweak, but my goal now it to begin the release on Thursday (Dec. 19).

Testing is still ongoing, so this could change, but here are the tentative release dates for Chapter 7, based on Patreon tier level:

Dec. 19 - Senior Scientist ($25)

Dec. 23 - Scientist ($10)

Dec. 27 - Associate Scientist ($5)

Jan. 1 - Lab Assistant ($2)

Jan. 6 - Public

This release will include everything from the start (Chapters 1-7). I've also finally added the ability to name your saves, which is useful since I introduced 5 separate paths starting in Chapter 6.
