You are correct about Isabella.
As for Miranda... I could and should have handled that better. I actually wish now that I hadn't changed her story. In the original version he sees her walking in the bar with Chad and for me, that was better. It provided a clear incentive for him to ditch her, and also it happened when he was with Isabella, so that was something that brought him and Isabella closer. Fans hated it. I should have kept it the way it was. Oh well, I tried to please the fans and I learned a lesson. Oh yeah, and the Giselle dialogue that you mentioned, I totally missed that. Oops. I was a very new dev at the time and I got overwhelmed with making so many changes. Sorry...
Now as for Brooke, that turned out to be WAY better after the change. I love the new Brooke storyline. It's so perfect for her. Introverted perfectionist by day, super talented outgoing performer by night. Brooke was never part of the original story that I wrote. She was a last second addition to Chapter 1. She was supposed to be a minor side character but the fans loved her so I elevated her to a bigger role. She's great.
I hope you enjoy it. I really love writing this and working on it. These characters are now like family to me. I hope they are to you too be the end.
A sequel is in the works and the release of Chapter 1 of Part II is tentatively planned for May 13th.
I don't think the Miranda situation was handled well, not in the "fixed" version and it was worse in the original imo.
First of all, the "cheating gf/wife" backstory is already so overused in these kind of games so just including it makes the player think the game might be a bit lazy and unimaginative.
Second, in your game, she overstays her welcome to the point the player might get the idea that she is a LI, since she even gets a sex scene (bad choice imo) and not everyone bothers to read the thread to know she isn't a LI. What happened in the game with her is out of the blue, first MC goes home they have a nice chat, some drinks and they fuck, no sign of anything going wrong in that relationship, outside of her maybe drinking a bit more than she probably should(as if that never happens)
So later finding out that she was cucking the MC gives a ntr feeling to the game, even more by having him watch it happen directly, even if they weren't outright fucking in front of him. It goes from being a plot device to bring the story forward to feeling more like an attempt to convey a feeling of humiliation that puts off people who are not into that kind of cuckold fetish.
Instead of going into such details, it, can be as easily said through narration or the MC commenting it during conversation with other characters. I am pretty sure Isabella would feel bad about the MC getting cheated on if she just was told about it, she doesn't need to see him being humiliated as well to bring her closer to him, if anything it would make it feel more like she does it out of pity.
In most other games that use this backstory, it is often just told and they dont show much details of their relationship that might give someone the wrong idea that she is a relevant character for the story, hell, in some cases we don't even get to know what she looks like, since her role is just to leave and get the story forward.
Finally the fixed version doesn't make sense and fails to commit on either, as the other dude said, it supposedly not clear if she cheated but later the characters just take it as a fact that she did.
