perhaps, ive known it since early stage but only played it since 0.96, already known the progress was slow but didnt expect this much

I personally am not playing it has no interest after initially looking like a great game never progresses too many other games with progression on here so have fun

So, five and a half years with no real content or has no one updated the tags in a long time?
There IS new content if you loock back at 5 years ago, but it's not a lot, and it's a (little) expansion of the what was already there, so the general plot is stuck where it was years ago.

These games are like windows progress bar, the moment they reach 0.99 it stops loading.
Dev 1: "It's been months since our last update, we'd better put something out or people will start pulling their patreon subs!! But we haven't done any actual work, what should we do?"
Dev 2: "Yeah yeah yeah, calm down, ok I got it, we change the businesses so they close at night. And give them a unique sound effect."
Dev 1: "That's might work. But I feel like it's not enough, it's been too long since our last update, we need something more substantial... something people have been wanting ever since this game came out..."
Dev 2: "Sex with Belle?"
Dev 1: "Oh god no, how would we keep our Patreon afloat if we can't dangle that carrot? No... but what if we put Gaston in the stocks?"
Dev 2: "BRILLIANT!!"
