But no one was reporting that the new release is really fully done, so why do you need the hero?

It is the 41st Millennium. The Library Story is finally finished. There is also some stuff about some guy on a throne but who cares about that?
So I bit the bullet and paid a dollar to try the new version. Once again, less content than before. There is a new tab that tracks gardening now and "handiwork" which is what they're calling the handjob skill. Once you reach level 2 in the skill, there is no more scenes, just Gaston telling Belle that Fat Dick is complaining about the quality of her handjobs. There is a new interior waiting room for clients for her reading room interactions, but once again, only until level 2 of her handjob skills. You also can't even use the hole yourself after you cross that threshold. It seems like this game gets dumber and dumber with every release and worse and worse. It's been over 2 years since this $20 version available on this site and almost literally no new content is available. Don't waste your money

I mean... from the start this game was on pretty questionable footing. The art felt like something you'd find on some random teenager's DeviantArt page, and I'm pretty sure the only reason it got any notice was due to Xaljio getting some name recognition from having helped out Akabur. This isn't even close to the only game that released a demo and then coasted on without ever managing to make noteworthy progress in the years after the initial release. Sometimes it's because the game is intentionally a scam, sometimes it's because the developer is too worried about pleasing everyone, sometimes it's due to sheer incompetence and lack of direction. I always suspected the first cause was the incentive behind library story, but never so strongly that I'd be inclined to bet on it if I somehow had the opportunity.
I enjoyed the game a lot none the less. My guess is that they can't produce content anymore for one reason or another. I've seen this from another Russian trainer game called Witch Hunter Trainer, but that game is even less complete.
Many of the ideas are fun, but not quite. The art is actually pretty close to the original Disney cartoon. I would have liked to see some group action at some point, but at least it's playable through the whole thing. There are a lot of nice ideas that seem not quite complete and leave you hanging.
Any content that shows women being corrupted or raped these days even in fantasy seems to be under scrutiny and is being made more difficult to make money with. There are a lot of movements like metoo that started this. These groups will go crazy and ban you even for suggesting that it's okay to have fantasy content with adults that includes these types of themes citing you as sick and lacking modern progress or wanting to hurt and enslave women.

The most funny in all of this is that the author of the Library Story is the woman herself, so she actually knows what wants real women not the #metoo hype hysterics.
I have no issue with women protecting themselves. I just think they can be fanatical about sexual things that they perceive as a threat. They try to control and make everything in their image or way of thinking. Not all, but many.
I suppose that there are not many such females, but such fanatic beings are less in quantity, but more in hystery, IMHO.
No news for the 'NEW' update? I'm just curious about the progress made....
