Dear 0ptimus, here's my experience with The Manor. First of all, even though I had version 4 installed, I believe (then updated to the latest), I barely made it to the end of chapter 1, without understanding the mechanism that would have allowed me to continue. My fault, obviously. It seemed like a slightly strange type of game to me. Once I reached the end of the individual quests (cap 1), nothing appeared. I repeat, my mistake. I didn't thoroughly analyze the game mechanics, skipping "fundamental" parts. Then I read on the forum about others who had the same problem as me, and the solution was simple. The button that allowed you to continue to the next chapter appeared (magically
), and finally a whole new world of this game opened up to me
. I gradually understood the mechanics of how to progress the game, everything became very simple, and so, after months/years of inactivity, I made it to the end of chapter 6. The plot is very good, with many unexpected aspects and involvements (starting from Olivia and her problems, to Anita/Cassie, to Johanna, to Sandra who in the end I would have wanted to save in some way, maybe with some "backup" in a clone "generated" with some secret technology, thanks to Erika, a technological genius, and Olivia, Sandra's "scientific" mental clone with all her medical knowledge
). It's a shame I was so late in understanding the mechanics of this game. Damn.
