some stat grinding with very little visual feedback. Even the "fun way" to get pregnant is laughably bad (white dummy fucking you in a few images and thats it).

I already have seem them in so many games and they look way to ugly and creepy, especially in the face.

if your interested in doing a game like this with 2d work i recommend checking out discord servers that have smut artists in them. i don't know what your budget is but some will be willing to do work for free if the game is free or if its not some would be down for revshare!
im speaking from personal experience, i havent made a horny game but i am making a little sci-fi game with a crew that i found a similar way

I don't mind hyper-preg content, but extending the pregnancy period with drugs sound insane.
Regular hyper-preg stuff is just having a lot of kids at the same time, but this one imply you are forcing the kid into hibernation to keep it inside.
weird game but i admit i like the over the top look of it, that being said gameplay loop is really barebones atm and kinda boring as a result

Some thing tells me it will get the same type of treatment as with the futa/trans tag.
I am all good for the pregnancy fetish, but hyper-pregnancy is not my thing. Good luck with the game.

I didn't even think about that to be honest. I'll keep that in mind once I wrap up this project and start on my next one. My budget is a whopping zero dollars. Got a lot of bills, taking care of a dad with stomach cancer,(plus those bills) and having to work two jobs to make ends meet so this is just a thing I do in my very little free time. I did get some volunteer help with the writing so that has been a godsend (I suuuuck at writing). The game is free, but I did accept payments before itch did their thing. Now I just have a patreon for those that are interested. Yeah, I'm planning to add in interactions with the other dancers down the line for some varied gameplay. I'm trying to think of more ways for the player to interact and not be forced to use a mouse clicker to just spam dances. This is my first real game so it's a learning experience. :/
There are seven "tiers" of pregnancy at the moment (there will be eleven by the end, with that being room filling). I feel like everyones definition of hyper is different, but you'll reach a size similar to the fourth preview image by tier three. I think the max size for tier two is that last one even remotely in the realm of realism. Below is an example of that size.
I'd love if they expanded the tags out more. Then again, I think games like mine are super niche so may not be worth the effort. I may be wrong here but I think things like breast expansion also fall under the transformation tag? Overall, I think the tag system could use some love but it's not the worst I've seen. Appreciate it!
