I'm not sure what to think of the update. On the one hand, I'm happy the game has been revived (I was looking through my backup folder and still had saves from 2022, lol)... but on the other hand, the update doesn't seem as good, in terms of quality and details, as it used to be.
First of all, the whole scene with Alex is all buggy, I think the scene only works if you make her win the arm wrestling, the other route skips the whole cinema scene. And there's inconsistency with her outfit.
Second, the scene in the studio with Jenny and Stacy was super rushed; we had only two animations that didn't even show Jenny's face. And then, in Stacy's house, there's only a single frame for the entire scene. The quality of the animations didn't seem that great to me either. Yeah, overall, it felt rushed and lacking.
I would prefer the team working on this to stick with a more linear, kinetic format from now on. I imagine that way the game would be simpler to develop and require less work than a sandbox with multiple routes and different choices. And stop wasting time on magazines lol, get on with the plot.
