You need to copy the global aswell, make sure not to miss anything.

8.0 and 8.2 are the same thing, it was just bug fixes, so saves aren't affected.
There should be a global.rpgsave included with the saves. It only works with the saves it comes with. Theres also a config.rpgsave that also should be there that comes with the game.

You'll have to create new saves in slots 1-4 then copy the others by mad_scientist in.
There should be one in the saves I posted since the dev posted those, but again it only works with the saves it comes with.
